Excellent LW; liked the steam place, although intrigued by what
looks like a small waterwheel beside the outdoor pump, with no
water flowing.
What's it for?
Your bike looks very fetching in green, and I like the colour
matched binnacle

Wotcha.
According to the info sheet next to the small waterwheel . . .
.it was set up in a stream, and would run unattended for years.
It's purpose was to pump water uphill to the local farm
building. Although it only pumped a small amount, because it
was running 24 hours a day, it managed to provide enough water
to fill a storage tank.
If you look closely, the water is being fed from the tank behind
the wheel.
