I know the chances are slim to none,but I'm going to ask anyway.
Does anyone in the U.S. have a civilian tank they would sell??

The chance to find a NF gas tank is very small, especially for
the CF, considering the number of moto produced for this model;
A bigger chance for the Militare;
I suggest you to repair the tank ,using on of the products
available on the market;
I Just repaired the tank of one of my Guzzi, using the
Tankerite;
my tank had a big hole on the top and a multitude of pinholes
over the entire surface;

If I had a civilian tank, I would probably do that.

I would be surprised if there were more than a dozen NF's in the
U.S., and the traditional U.S. vintage Guzzi suppliers stock
virtually no NF parts unless they are common to the twins.
Large patches of my NF Military tank were completely rotten
through, and I wound up buying a tank on eBay Germany and having
it shipped to the U.S.
I seem to recall someone saying the V50 tank is somewhat similar
to the Civile tank. So if you can't find the correct tank, you
might consider adapting a V50 tank to fit.

I've never seen a Civile tank advertised anywhere in the world,
and your chances of finding one locally are (as you said) pretty
much zero.
There may be one somewhere in Europe, but finding would be
difficult.
Adapting something else would seem to be your best option I'm
afraid.

Thanks for all the replies. Patentgeek, can I ask what the
shipping cost was on the tank?
I had a BMW/Heinrich tank shipped over 10 years ago and it was
around 300$
To insure it,it had to be shipped by air.
