Stock Tire Sizes? |

My Nuovo Falcone project came with a 3.5-18 front tire and a |
|
4.0-18 rear tire. I suspect these are oversize. |
|
The internet indicates that the front tire should be 3.25-18 and |
|
the rear tire 3.5-18. Is this correct? |

Yes, but it's common to fit 3.50-18 at both ends. The 4.00 would |
|
foul the chainguard I think, as one of our members is reverting |
|
to stock so he can re-fit it. |

Thanks banquo! The 4.0 rear looks too big, and the bike doesn't |
|
sit quite flat on the center-stand - - - although that might be |
|
due to the non-stock shocks that are installed. Hopefully with |
|
a 3.5 rear and stock length Hagon shocks, all will be good. |

Update. I've been running 3.25/3.5 front/rear tires (Heidenau) |
|
with WM2/WM3 front/rear rims with good results. I doubt the |
|
non-stock WM2 front rim (vs. original WM3 width) has much effect |
|
on handling. |
