Flywheel casing

Happy, safe and prosperous New Year to one and all. ;D
Just treated myself to a little present, namely an inner and
outer flywheel casing for my Civile.
As the exposed flywheel is a major part of the attraction of the
machine, I intend to modify the outer cover so that the "bacon
slicer remains a feature of the beast, consequently I would
welcome pics / comments from others who have already done this.
Also, I'm assuming that the flywheel will have to be removed to
fit the inner case, so is it keyed onto the end of the
crankshaft, or will I need to reset the timing?

Hi OG,
the most easy way is to fit a SMS cover, for this you have only
to change the outer cover, the inner one will stay.
And you don't have to remove the flywheel. By the way, you don't
reset the timing when you remove it!

A good 2017 and cheers

Thanks, Kater - good info, as usual. Apologies for the stupid
question regarding flywheel removal and timing. I usually have
a fair idea of what's involved in jobs such as this, but this
time I failed to engage brain before hitting the keyboard :-[
