| Flywheel casing | |

| Happy, safe and prosperous New Year to one and all. ;D | |
| Just treated myself to a little present, namely an inner and | |
| outer flywheel casing for my Civile. | |
| As the exposed flywheel is a major part of the attraction of the | |
| machine, I intend to modify the outer cover so that the "bacon | |
| slicer remains a feature of the beast, consequently I would | |
| welcome pics / comments from others who have already done this. | |
| Also, I'm assuming that the flywheel will have to be removed to | |
| fit the inner case, so is it keyed onto the end of the | |
| crankshaft, or will I need to reset the timing? | |

| Hi OG, | |
| the most easy way is to fit a SMS cover, for this you have only | |
| to change the outer cover, the inner one will stay. | |
| And you don't have to remove the flywheel. By the way, you don't | |
| reset the timing when you remove it! | |

| Thanks, Kater - good info, as usual. Apologies for the stupid | |
| question regarding flywheel removal and timing. I usually have | |
| a fair idea of what's involved in jobs such as this, but this | |
| time I failed to engage brain before hitting the keyboard :-[ | |
