Brake pad specs
By: Gaffertape Date: November 14, 2015, 3:38 am

Hi
Does anyone know the official size / thickness of new brake
pads to use as a comparison to the used ones on my bike ? The
riders manual says replace pads once you have run out of thread
on the adjustment wheel but i am after the actual pad
thickness to show they are within normal range . I just don't
know what is the actual range they should be in ? They do
work fine and pull the beast up relatively well , its never
really going that fast anyway !
any ideas
Ric

No idea I'm afraid...
I have seen them for sale on eBay though.

Difficult to say, since the bike hasn't got any to start
with....I need some rear brake shoes though.

There's a pair of shoes here
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTO-GUZZI-NUOVO-FALCONE-500cc-CEPPI-FRENO-Brake-shoe…
/>which will give you an idea of the original lining thickness.
Also linings for sale here

I'd be careful; probably asbestos at that age.
