Upper Cylinder Lubricant

Hi Folks,
I visited North Leicester Motorcycles recently and noticed they
are selling the Morey's range of products..
http://www.moreyoil.co.nz
and was tempted to try their upper cylinder lubricant.
There is info on the NLM website, but I cannot find it again at
the moment.
Now that my NF is nearly back on the road it seems to me a
reasonable investment to use some kind of UCL and I know
their are various ones out there.
It seems like an ideal product to sell....can't prove it
works...can't prove it does not work !!
With that understood...i wonder if anyone has any favourites for
any reason...
Thanks and good riding to all.

I squirt a bit of Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant into the tank
whenever I think about it. As you say, I have no evidence that
it does a scrap of good except for the placebo effect.

I used to put a splash of two stroke oil into my M21 It was a
side valve and ran very hot. I dont know if it did any good. It
was also the custom to put a couple of shots of redex into
petrol at the forecourt as it was supposed to clean the carb,
lubricate the cylinder head and reduce the need for
decarbonising. That was before modern oils and petrols. Those
were the days before ethanol and mobile phones!

I have to admit to adding a squirt of Castrol R, just for the
pleasure of those few who are following rather than leading the
NF. I guess that doesn't count as UCL, but it sure smells good..
;)
