Law 002 (Adoption of Bill of Rights |

[center]Adoption of the Bill of Rights Act[/center] |
|
Citing the lack of a document that guarantees the rights of the |
|
people, it is proven necessary that we adopt a document as such. |
|
Seeing the unmitigated success of the US Bill of Rights in |
|
securing the rights of the citizens of the American Republic it |
|
should be prudent that we adopt it for our own use as well. |
|
If this law is passed a referendum shall be held in which the |
|
people will decide if the US Bill of Rights, adapted for use on |
|
NS, will be adopted as our own. |
|
If the referendum passes the Senate shall vote on its adoption |
|
in accordance with constitutional laws regarding amendments. |
|
