The Columbian Diplomatic Battle
By: Columbia Confederates Date: August 19, 2015, 4:28 pm

Outside Capital
Jag McCartney, a senator in the Colombian Congress, notable for
writing the UCA article of confederation and being an avid
supporter of secession, stands outside the capital building with
a microphone with a well gathering of people.
"Look at what this nation has become ladies and gentlemen! Look
at who's at the top. Socialists, Monarchists, Fascists, the list
goes on and on and on. There was recently a collation made
between two of the NCSA states, both of which are socialists.
All of which deny basic human liberties, all of whom deny the
basic rights of states. Look at Bamivo, look at DEN, look
anywhere and you'll see a common theme, fear. Fear of losing
power. We had one of our greatest allies, West Phoenicia, leave
our side because of fear. Bamivo has scurried away and called
for peace against these socialist tyrants! Where is the Liberty
Party? Where is the Antebellum Party? No where to be found
that's where! They've cowered away into a place they can be
safe, under the hands of the government. They want to strip us
from the inside out. They have our Governor, they have our
guards, they attacked a poor farmer! They want a few things to
happen to this nation. They want our agrarian economy stripped
down and industrialized, they want to nose in on our business by
passing a law that makes a federal police force, they try to
dictate how we trade our weapons. They want us to die. They want
the Colombian men and women dead. They want the children burnt
alive on a stake for the actions of their parents." The crowd
was rumbling and began to shout out against the NCSA. "I'm
surprised I haven't been taken down yet. They don't care for
free speech either! They wanted to kick us out of a 'peaceful'
meeting! They want the voice of the people dead! They want the
voice of the states dead! This is no confederacy...this is a
hell hole aristocracy. Now y'all listen up! Tell your
congressmen to withdraw their status from the Capital like we
have! Withdraw your status from this wretch of a nation and let
God bring His almighty power down on them to crush them!" The
crowd was being riled up. "Let's stand strong today, and
tomorrow, and forever more, under God. Let us remember we don't
wish to create violence, rather to create peace, and a sovereign
place, a true confederacy. Which means stripping down the
Constitution and replacing it with the Colombian written
'Articles of Confederation' currently being followed by the UCA.
Now go my friends, it's time to make a difference in this
world." The people applauded. "Now I will take questions from
anyone that wishes to take questions."

"What makes you so scared of Socialism?" heckles someone from
the crowd.

"Well, sir, socialism does a big thing, and that is it takes
away a man's individual right to his crop, his share of his
work. I know that socialism isn't the farmer man's thing, maybe
its the big man's thing, the corporate fat cat's thing, but it
ain't the thing for the Colombian farmer." he calmly responded.

"What are we going to do to the other people we conquer? Are we
going to enslave them?" Heckles another person.

"We aren't conquerors, we're defenders, and while the Bible
allows us to own slaves, as many of us, including myself do, we
don't force anyone into that position. Forcing someone into
slavery and then abusing that slave is wrong. So I guess
hypothetically yes, they could be enslaved."

"We aren't targetin' any specific group sir, unless those
Muslims started harmin' our society. But, lets stay focused on
the topic at hand sir." he laughed.
