It would have been my wedding this week

hey guys, it's been a while since I updated you all and I'm
really sorry. I just got back to work after almost 6 months and
I've been going for support meetings and even talking to my
family more than I did last year. Shreya is still a huge part of
my life, even after she died. I got an advertisement for wedding
flowers in the mail today from the florists we had booked for
our wedding and I realized that this Wednesday would have been
our wedding. She loved lilies, those were going to be her
flowers. we had picked her white gown and everything. She was my
soulmate and she took my heart with her when she went. Breast
cancer really hurts. I imagine if we got to know about it
sooner, we would have gotten married before she died but God
called her before we could even go through with it. I wish she
was here, I miss her with all my heart. anyways, how have you
guys been? Still surviving?

I got diagnosed with stage 2 heart cancer last month. The doctor
said the tumor is in a very bad spot and it has started blocking
the flow of blood in my left atrium. I get 1/8th less blood than
a regular person and eventually, that's going to catch up to me.
Today I got fired from my construction job. I didn't pass the
yearly physical because of heart issues, obviously. They were
nice about it, told me they felt bad and the works, even offered
to pay for some part of my treatment if there is any. Kind of
bummed out right now but it's fine. cancer takes a whole lot
more than your body.
