Finn M/38 Terni carbine |

Ok, you guys talked me into it. The price started out at $219n |
|
last spring, and each time I went in it dropped a little. Well |
|
it stalled at $150 and after feedback from the peanut gallery I |
|
bit. It had been speaking to me for a while, I just kept coming |
|
up with excuses not to snag it. Well, here are some pics I took |
|
while waiting my turn at the counter. More pics in natural light |
|
later. It looks waaayy nicer than these photos show. |
|
Someone shot it quite a bit at some point. The bore has some |
|
wear and a little pitting. The stock is worn at the wrist and |
|
where the sling has rubbed on it. Other than some dents and |
|
dings the stock is in great shape. |
|
All matching, not messed with, SA stamps on the receiver and |
|
well-used sling. Nothing in the cleaning rod compartment but not |
|
disappointed. How'd I do? |

Cool piece man. I think you'll like it. It's a great collector |
|
piece with a lot of history. Like I said before, people |
|
underrate the Carcano and Mas 36. |

Dave, I'd like to see a bit more of this one now that I screwed |
|
myself into a sporter version of one. I'm gonna need some help |
|
with the rust bucket I just picked up. I got [SA] tunnel vision |
|
and need to know how to be a smarter carcano buyer |

This is the one I just sold to fund another with an 1895 dated |
|
barrel that I'll be picking up next month. I have a bunch more |
|
photos that I'll post laterb today though. |
