Finn marked carbine at a local shop

Really tight on funds, put an Enfield on layaway, may do the
same for this one. 1939 date 7.35 Carcano, Finn marked. No bayo,
good bore. Rough SA marked sling. Pretty decent shape, $179 OTD.
I know about the ammo availability issues, but as a collectible
it would fit nicely with my Finn mosins. I know if I ask,
everyone will say "buy it", but looking input anyway. ;D
Finn marked Carcanos are VERY common here but usually bubba
molested, if you see a Carcano carbine chances are it's SA
marked. This is the first I've seen with sling though. I didn't
even have a chance to look for matching numbers.

If it was 6.5 I'd say go for it. I've never seen commercially
made 7.35. Totally up to you though, it's a fair price IMO. I
have always been fond of the Carcano Rifles, if only ammo was
more available.....

It would be a nice piece to add to a Finn collection, but the
ass-pain-to-find caliber would keep it from being worth it to
me. I would personally save my money. Also, do I spy a P14 or
M1917 Enfield in the background? Use the money for a down
payment on that if it isn't "pimp shined" ;D Keep me in mind
if you find a 6.5 SA stamped Carcano that isn't bubba'd. I would
be happy to buy/trade one from you. :)

It's a P-14 in .303. Nice one too but its on consignment for
$700ish. I didnt look too close. No bubba meddling on it. I'll
watch for an SA 6.5. that isnt fubar-by-bubba for you. The owner
recently sold almost all his Japanese rifles. He has two left
that I need to look closer at.

Good choice. You won't regret it. Worst Case Ontario you don't
like it and you sell it for 200 on funbroker.
