Eric passed away November of 2014 from a brain tumor. Travis & |
|
I adopted the girls and have enjoyed having them in our flock. |
|
#3 is the only one left from the 5. When we adopted them, Eric |
|
couldn't remember their names. So, we affectionately called |
|
them 1 piece, 2 piece, 3 piece, .... later, Eric sent us a note |
|
with the names but we still called them by their piece count. 3 |
|
piece's given name is Fern. |
|
Dominique's are sweet chickens but sometimes demand your |
|
attention. They have not proven to be good layers though and |
|
the shells are thinner than the rest of the flock. |
|
Rest in Peace, Eric. Your girls have enjoyed being on the river |
|
but they missed you and your citrus trees! |
