Turken Naked Necks
By: Deborah Moorer Date: March 1, 2018, 9:50 pm

I started out my herd with only 3 turken naked necks (all hens).
Their names are Buzzy, PipPip, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. This past
year one of my brooders hatched out a tiny naked neck and I was
beyond thrilled!! Her name is Willie and she is growing
beautifully.
About the breed.
Turken Naked Necks naturally do not grow feathers around their
necks. They also do not have as much feathers around their
breast, under their wings, and around their vent compared to
other breeds. They make good mamas, do very well in cold
weather, and lay brown eggs.
