Solar heat absorber selective coatings

HEY, WAKE UP! THIS PLACE HAS BEEN LIKE A MORGUE LATELY.
Let's liven it up a little.
Has anybody used LAMP BLACK to coat their pipes, or flat plates
to help the collector absorb more heat? It seems that it would
be the best coating for high temperature etc.

Shhhhh! Don't wake everybody ;) I'm started building a
solar heater. Planned to use cheap black paint on sprayflask
from the local market but now i will look for this stuff
instead. I saw this youtube about cans vs. flat plates (was
some alu net i 3 layers). The conclusion was the made almost the
same heat but the one with plating was faster to build.

Hi
Lampblack is soot from candles or oil lamps. It is carbon. I
figured if mixed with a carrier like alcohol it could be painted
on the collector surface.
It may even have buckeyballs in it.
The products with numbers like Solchrome would be good.
