Progress on the engine?

Hi, I read on your blog about a special star trek engine
utilizing exotic material and waste heat, but this was posted
awhile ago, August 2013.
How does it work?
What is the status?
Is this project dead?

The engine was completely part by part CAD designed and put out
to bid. Cost is about $9000/per based on building ten. Of
course this cost would be very low if it were mass produced. My
partner was a scammer and he disappeared.
The engine is very similar to a Wankle Engine, but much simpler.
It works off heat or pressure and is ideal for steam, gas let
down, excess air pressure. I have more ideas than money so the
project is shelved.
Maybe someday it can see the light of day.
The engine does promise to pack the most HP per Lb over any
other engine and has only five moving parts.

Your engine reminds me of a vane pump.

So this engine works off of pressure not heat?

It can run off both pressure and/or heat. It is more efficient
as a heat engine. One time, when testing at a research facility
the engine was running off steam and as the boiler capacity was
depleted the boiler started priming and the engine continued
running off the hot water. That would have destroyed a
reciprocating piston engine.

That is a real neat engine design. Brilliant!! Would love to see
one available in plans or kit form.
