something new from something old an recycled

i noticed the other half lay by the road side from last month it
was still there calling out.. today! so i took it as a divine
inspiration/intervention an good deed.. as i was coming home
from church i said its still there..
now i have been looking an tinkering with an idea to turn my
little 400 watt 24v dc motor this is very rough in the think
tank stage.... but i think you can see where i'm heading...
horizontal with a fin for direction.. or vertical...... this is
what i was talking about when i mentioned the base..add dual
alternators an drive my dc motor... these do not match off to
different chars one is lighter so this may work to my advantage,
but they still will work..my wife is using the matching one an
said hands off...my office chair !
now there are many friction less an directionless way's to
rotate this plastic polymer poly-carbon base.. practically pre
-assembled ready for recycled applications ...something new from
something old..thanks dad..my mentor.... with very minor
alterations ..i can mechanize it... using super bearings on a
shaft both halves fit like a Glove an are on same center-line
axis point to point..... i just need to energize it with
motion... i believe in simplicity an efficiency... i can work
with both..the path with least resistance an friction.
use water i do have ... but i need to enclose an recycle wish i
had a stream.. .. wind i do have..45 to 50 mph at times once a
month average ...mostly 10-20 mph constant with gust ..steam
threw a boiler.. air pressure ect.

now i have it..i found out i could please too people at
once..the base was interchangeable..she got tokeep her chair an
i got the match i needed ;D
MACgyver engineering @ its best AN A COUNTRY BOY CAN
SURVIVE.....
now i have a turbine permanent magnet motor 400 watt 24v 22amp
vawt /hawt
all i need is 5 rods threaded both ends ...a few bearings an the
other sprocket which i have an chain..or i can shaft alignment
couple.. or i can make a 3 phase dual /single phase alternator
decisions decisions..
dimensions are as follow width is 24"/ dia X 24-60" length

ran into a bit of a snag today, i have wrestled with this idea
before... how big do i go...... i do not know? but here it
goes... in my project bigger is better so i'm told by experience
..i need a larger diameter size .. i have a dia. of 2'an not
enough torque.... fine for water flow..to turn my little
generator depending on flow rates an size that can happen... do
but wind is different...
i have a problem with torque not enough ....explained in in
this way.. under a load! there is going to be even more torque
.... so i have been advised to extend my circumference to a
minimum of up to 8' in diameter an height of 5-6...' this
changes everything a bit... a light goes off (a water Ferris
wheel gravity fed hmmm ???...)maybe>then once i achieve this
stage i will need to stop it ! easy stop the water..
second situation arises how to stop wind..?
know my chair base shall become a top an bottom mounting
bracket or i extend the arms length.... to a large circumference
with a hub centered /attached to a shaft an gear attached to a
hub (back to the gear formula ratio? now do i need a larger
sprocket/gear hmm i don't think so..) at the bottom off the
hub.
i have the idea that more mass equates to greater speed an
torque we will see.. as the material will go larger ... more
surface area? less drag ? more torque? makes sense.. to my
permanent motor magnet generator dc
we will see...i may taking a drive to metro to look at there's
up close..
