Dwarf Fortress

[sup]Beyond quality![/sup]
Loads of features
http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/features.html.
Hilarity will always ensue. It was inevitable, really.
Seriously. My entire trade depot once exploded because somehow a
trader brought a bag of magma. Ended up killing my fortress; all
my dwarves were too dumb to live and thought that going to the
trade depot while there was magma was a good idea.
And according to TV Tropes, someone managed to drink themselves
in-universe. Wut O.o
Also, it seems you can now, finally, decide what the dwarves
will engrave. Bored with engravings of cheese? No more! Now you
can have them engrave things like "the spear is impaled on the
goblin" (instead of the boring "the goblin is impaled on the
spear") or "the elf is hugging the one thousand four hundred
fifty-nine trees" or even go way overboard - to the point of
Planepacked levels (that famous thing that was due to a bug) if
not beyond that!
Oh, and the game's a freeware one.
…
Too bad boats never came up in Boatmurdered. That would be
eerily prophetic :o
EDIT:
First counted post WHA--

Yui once had some dwarven child who was "negative two hundred
seventy-one days old".
How the hell does THAT work? Bugs can be so silly sometimes...
