Awesome.
I'll try it out when I either finish Lunar Shadow, or when I get
a new monitor. (I have a lot of things to do when I return,
huh?)
I was wondering, does S.D. van der Merwe have her own theme
song? (It's for LS ZERO that I ask, seeing as she's an important
character and all.)

Alright! ^.^
She doesn't really have one -- I guess you could use The Arrival
as her theme song if you like? It's technically the Entryway
theme song, but I tend to associate it with her for some reason.
Or, maybe you could bother me into making a proper theme song at
some point in future~

I just got to the elevator. And to be honest, this need more
polish.
1: many of the attacks can be animated rather than mooving
sprintes. For instance the saws ibefore the first boss.
2: the phisics feel really floaty. I suggest you play with them
a little
I have to say the level design of the first area was really
cool. 2nd level's design was ok, the enemies are really
triggersome. the moment they see you they shoot. And some of the
placements can be a pain.
1st boss was just a static target. Maybe with a little mooving
it will be great.
I like how you approached the second boss. A fight with bullet
hell and i liked it to an extent. It reminded me of Terravine
from Wings of Vi. My problem with the bosses is that they are
all static. in fact all enemies are static.
It has potential, it just need some work, more animations and
more polish :)

This is bullshit.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll definitely consider having animated attacks in future,
those always look good. I like the physics the way they are
though.
A lot of the later bosses move around more -- The first 3 I
think don't do much, but the rest of them do.

Version 1.1 changelog:
* The bubbles in Ice Prison now work with both jump buttons.
*Drastically upped damage from touching enemies:
** Moss Garden robots: 1 --> 5
** Ice Prison robots: 1 --> 8
** Technology Tower robots: 1 --> 9
** Splendid Tower minibosses: 1 -- > 10
** Steve: 6 --> 12
** Andrea: 9 --> 14
** All other bosses: 1 --> 10
*Splendid Tower minibosses no longer respawn if one leaves the
room and comes back, and instead only respawn on Selena's death.
Additionally, defeating the gold or platinum demon will cause
all the other gold or platinum minibosses respectively to stay
dead for the rest of the game.
*Added another person to the credits.

Finally got around to playing this! Made it to the save point
beyond the green laser barrier thing in the magic school area.
Died the most at the Elevator though, but I eventually got
through that! :3
From what I've seen so far, it's pretty fun, if a bit on the
hard side (then again, I'm kinda terrible at games sometimes,
haha). I'll post again when I make more progress. …
Eventually.
Also I didn't notice the soundtrack was a separate download. (I
really failed a spot check there, huh?)
So who is the Shadow Maid, anyway?

Glad you like it!
The Shadow Maid is Hiranya Mitsuru.

Honestly the subject title was the first thing I saw here this
morning so I assumed that a Solar Shadow 2 remake had come out.
That wasn't the case but I don't mind. It's nice to know that
Charlie is having fun with it at least.
The only progress I made was turning left and getting Ending 3
(worst ending). If I find the time, I'll actually play the game
for real (and knowing me, try and kill the true final boss on
the first playthrough).
