~God's Fingerprints~
By: Justaname Date: June 22, 2023, 11:22 am
---------------------------------------------------------
A phrase that I have often used for many years when questioning
something is - " Does it have Gods fingerprint over it."
Last night I couldn't sleep , which is not totally unusual ...so
I lay there musing with the Lord.
One little verse from the OT that I love is - "Remember all the
way that the Lord Thy God has led thee lo these 40 years ."
So, I lay there, musing over the 58 years of being a follower
and walking with the Lord.
I got so blessed sleep became impossible!!
I especially dwelt upon the "fingerprint times"...those special
times when God has- 'jumped right into the day or moment'.
I remembered right back to the 60's and our early Christian
days.
There was a certain persons name that I was trying hard to
remember ...I could see him so clearly but couldn't recall his
name!
If ever we'd bump into him in the town[size=12pt] (we moved out
of that town later) ...he's do a little jump up and down, and
yell "hallelujah"!
Quite the character as you can guess!
In 1972 a couple of friends , from a different church, started
dropping by one evening a week for fellowship and prayer.
He was going through a very hard time emotionally...and was
threatened with losing his job.
Because God bless these Thursday evenings so much, my dad asked
he could could join us , then he started bringing my mother and
brother. We had many a wonderful evening...then, at one point
we felt prompted by the Lord to start meeting on Sunday mornings
also. Our friends had a living room much bigger than ours , plus
the had a piano...so we planned to meet there.
On the first Sunday when the 8 of us gathered at 10am, there
was a knocking on the front door...our friend went to opened
it...and there stood this brother who's name I had forgotten ,
but we had never forgotten him!!
Standing there with him was a couple who we had met only once
before. We heard this man say to our friend-
"God told me that there was a meeting going on here this
morning , can we come in to join you?" ( these three people
didn't even live in our town!)
And so it began, nothing of us...we invited no one...but they
came week by week, first one then another added by the Lord...
For me,that was a total 'God thing'...it had God's Fingerprints
all over it.
That was not the first experience of God 'jumping right into our
life' , neither was it the last...just one experience of many.
I mused over them all during the night- "remembering all the
ways the Lord had led us lo these many years"
Blessed in The Father who leads us all the way Home to Glory!
Anyone else wish to encourage us by sharing some precious
moments where God 'touched our life' in a really extra special
way?
Next!
.....H

. As sister Helen said,🤣🤣🤣, Gods
fingerprints but sometimes its more like His hand.
I was stuck in traffic just before the Port Mann bridge in
British Columbia going home from making tents, it was a Friday,
and the Spirit of the Lord said to me, How would you feel if
all are redeemed ? I said ticked off lo all these many
years I have served you and then the grace message had
meaning, thats the touch of the masters hand: many, many years
before in witnessing to a Jewish man ( didnt want his blood on
my head) telling him if he didnt accept Jesus he would go to
hell, his reply was unique, He said, the scene is the great
table in heaven, 24 elders and Jesus, the Father ask the Son,
How did we do on redemption? The Son says, 5% saved the rest
lost the man looked me straight in the face and said if thats
your God, hes not mine then he laughed and said Gods a Jew, we
dont do business like that.

. TrevorL That is my personal belief, if God so loved the
world, how much greater is His love.
Do I preach it no, if a person asks what I believe I tell them,
most times its the end of a conversation and a relationship
which is odd as some believe in a rapture and others do not, and
most Christians can agree to disagree on that but on the issue
of ALL are made alive by the second Adam, and that the
resurrection of Jesus as a living Lamb and not a dead lamb, if a
dead lamb was good for a year in the OT how much greater is one
that died and rose again.!!
People want to see their dog or cat in heaven but are seemingly
not bothered by people dying and seemingly not going to heaven.
I have many other personal beliefs that are probably
questionable to others but my calling is to Come follow me
there are many scriptures that can be used to refute my personal
belief but what is written on the heart is personal.
To me it shows the Greater love that God has for His creation.
As my old father in law would say .. I could be wrong but
Id rather err on the side of believing that Gods love is
greater than my tiny grey cells of understanding.
And as there is so much more truths in the Word to be revealed
and as John said of Pauls teachings, some hard to be
understood.
One day as we stand before Him we will know all Truth .

to my perspective. Also your earlier statement "the Spirit of
the Lord said to me". My spiritual life is based upon receiving
the Word of God, and do not have another voice within. I seek to
reject any idea that is different to what the Bible clearly
states. I was interested in reading a book on the life of Martin
Luther, and he came in contact with Thomas Muntzer, who taught
some form of Spirit possession. Martin Luther did not accept
this sort of "light within". The writer also states that this
difference between Muntzer and Luther is similar to the
difference between modern liberal Protestantism and the religion
of the (Protestant) founders.
I have had no direct "voice" but look to Scriptures for guidance
and consider that in my lifetime I have been blessed by God's
guidance and providential care. I can look back at many choices
and circumstances where I consider God was active in my life. I
do not accept universal salvation, but salvation by means of
faith in the Gospel of the Kingdom and Name and a life thus
motivated by the love revealed in the death and and resurrection
of Jesus and motivated by the hope of the future Kingdom of God
upon the earth for the 1000 years..
Kind regards

I think it's a very positive, good, compassionate, merciful,
forgiving and loving way believing that all will be redeemed and
not lost. As imperfect as they are, good parents never give up
on their children. How much more so will our Heavenly Father who
is perfect not give up on His children.
I remember one day my oldest son was crying and said, mama,
don't ever leave me(give up on me). I said, I will never leave
you no matter what.
Love will win and God's will is going to be done. Is anything
too hard for the LORD?

Yay! Totally agree .
Back when we were younger , when people came against the the
ultimate Plan of God , which from the moment His Son being slain
from before the foundation of the world showed His intended
perfect planwed answer with - So, tell me , what part of
The Love Of God dont you like , and what part of Gods Love
offends you.?
I have found that so many Christian just choose to believe
what some preacher has told them that the Bible says
It makes me laugh when people say - THIS is what the Bible
says
I always answer with - Thats just happens to be the
interpretation that YOU believe it to be saying ....
What arrogance to believe that we worms know all of Gods
intent - no man has all truth .
We walk in the light that God has revealed to us and the
Last Day will reveal who was closer to the truth.
It took me TEN years before I could step over the party line
, and believe all that Father showed me through His word
throughout the years . I finally believed , which was not done
lightly , but with much searching and many tears . I knew so
many friends would disagree ..but after ten years of God nudging
me , I could withstand Him no longer . Love always wins .
Praise His name at the end of this .GOD WINS !
Every knee shall bow , and every tongue WILL CONFESS

It took being part of a certain religion to open my eyes to how
not to be, how not to think, how not to believe, how not to look
down on and view others in such a negative and judgmental way
believing that they were doomed to destruction and not to be
shown compassion or mercy and that they were evil and viewed as
enemies, how not to view God with the focus on His being angry,
vindictive, and partial. That's not to say that was the only
religion that taught similar things but that one religion was
extreme in many ways and hurt so many people.

A old preacher used to quote, when asked if he went to movies,
his reason for not going he said was based on 'if Jesus came'
while he was there, he would never know the movies ending' As
to the thousand year reign, what if it turns out to be a
day!!!!!!!!! "A day as a thousand yrs and a thousand years as a
day''
We are thankful for God using Mt Luther for bringing 'faith and
grace' but in reading about him, his testimony like many of us
is a 'little' cloudy. He might have done better with a of of
'the light within.'
Those who opposed Jesus and his message had all the scriptures,
but it's the Spirit that giveth life unto the scriptures, Jesus
stood before them; He was the living Word made flesh, ...and
they knew him not.
Most mornings i awake and acknowledge "this is the day that you
have made I will rejoice and be glad in it" unfortunately it's
not always how you start but how you finish that's the important
bit.
As many(does that imply not all) "as are led by the Spirit they
are the Sons of God,"... emphasis on to me, the Spirit within;
Hey keep truckin' Tev'L he has led you thus far, so I'm
confident He will complete it in you.
But as for me, like David of old, 'take not thy Holy Spirit from
me' I could not start the day with knowing I have the Holy
Spirit within, who brings all things to remembrance, so I can
confidently leave my bible at home knowing that He knows all
things, 'Christ in me, the hope of Glory'
Man does not 'live' by bread(written Word) alone but by every
Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
When ye come together according to Paul, "every one of you
"hath" a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a revelation, hath an
interpretation; that according to Paul is " Church" and to me is
where one should find a proceeding Word, if I coffee with
brethren I need to look to for a proceeding Word and be open to
the prophetic, plus as Kerry says, the ministry of angels, I
wonder how may I've been unaware of!!!!!
Keep sweet T'L as a friend used to say.
