God is always working..

" And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord
caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night
Exod 14:21
I found these words comforting... showing God works in the
'dark'.
The real work of God for Israel, wasn't when they woke and found
that they could cross the Red Sea; but it was “all that
night.”
So even when life seems at it's darkest , there may be a special
working of God going on in our life! When it all seems dark and
we cannot feel His presence or see His face, God is working!
Night and day, darkness and light , are both alike to Him.
"The next day", only reveals what God had done during the
'night' time.

It's a fascinating passage. It also reminds us that people must
be willing to allow God to work and our actions should be in
line with what we ask God to do. I love it when God tells
Moses to stop praying and take action. A time and a place for
everything.
Exodus 14:15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou
unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go
forward:
16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the
sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry
ground through the midst of the sea.
And Moses heard and obeyed.
Note too that God helped create the problem of their being
trapped. This shows that God does not permit problems to come
unless He has already provided answers and a way of escape.
No?
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp
before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against
Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are
entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

Yes!

I just love seeing the results of prayer playing right out in
front of my eyes. Sometimes though I have to remind myself that
I had prayed about a situation and what is happening is God at
work and not to grumble. Happened just today when I said: I
don't want to (go where I needed to... it was 11 am and was
ready for lunch, etc, etc, etc.) I had already been three
places! lol Just have to stop and remind ourselves to be
grateful at times for what God is doing for us on our behalf.
And yes! God does not give a problem that doesn't have a
solution already worked out. Be in His will and all will be as
it should be. Glory be to God, lol... who else's glory could it
be? Yes, it is wonderful seeing how God works when we work
together with Him. Amazing, awe-full~

I like that. That brings trust into the situation. 1) He is
working for our good..even when we can't see it. 2) "There hath
no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is
faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye
are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to
escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Hallelujah!!!
Romans 8:31
King James Version (KJV)
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who
can be against us?

I find myself in the mulligrubs today...trying to pick my chin

I am having to hold on to this..with everything I have...."That
God IS working through 'this' Night."
At the moment I can't see it...in fact it's going further

Now I know that it probable will not help at all, but having
returned from Auschwitz I now see some things in life as not so
important as they were. Or more to the point as important as I
had made them out to be. The human spirit can suffer much and
in the end still come through a situation that others might be
over whelmed by.
The unfortunate truth is, that whatever it takes to bring one to
Jesus that is what it is going to take.
I just pray that I shall be ready to the hour when they realize
their need of the life of Jesus and the help and support of the
body of Christ.

We can try to remain solid ourselves the way the father of the
prodigal son did. When the son came to his senses, he knew
where to find his father.

I didnt know where to place this so Ive dug up a very old
thread ( one of the early ones on this site ) which I had
started under Runner , which was the profile name I used to go
by!
Quote -
Have you come to the Red Sea place in your life,
Where, in spite of all you can do,
There is no way out, there is no way back,
There is no other way but through?
Then wait on the Lord with a trust serene
Till the night of your fear is gone;
He will send the wind,
He will heap the floods,
When He says to your soul, "Go on."
And His hand will lead you throughclear through--
Ere the watery walls roll down,
No foe can reach you, no wave can touch,
No mightiest sea can drown;
The tossing billows may rear their crests,
Their foam at your feet may break,
But over their bed you shall walk dry shod
In the path that your Lord will make.
In the morning watch, 'beneath the lifted cloud,
You shall see but the Lord alone,
When He leads you on from the place of the sea
To a land that you have not known;
And your fears shall pass as your foes have passed,
You shall be no more afraid;
You shall sing His praise in a better place,
A place that His hand has made.
