The Tesla vid reminded me of a super Christopher Nolan movie I |
|
watch from time-to-time titled The Prestige about two dueling |
|
magicians in their trade and the lengths both took to break |
|
barriers of illusions. Nikola Tesla plays a part. A really |
|
fascinating film. Jaw dropping ending (at least for me). Highly |
|
recommended by me. |

^^^I suppose, Kerry, that Trump is a stable genius. Perhaps the |
|
word 'stable' has other connotations as well. Perhaps he means |
|
stable such as in horse stable. In other words, he seems to be |
|
conveying that he is a man imbued with horse sense. Maybe that |
|
is it, maybe horse sense. |
|
Perhaps, were learning something else here, that Trump is a man |
|
who's horsing around; and, that we are not looking upon the |
|
countenance of The Donald but that we are looking upon the south |
|
end of a north bound horse. Maybe we're seeing the bottom of |
|
things, not the face but rather that which he mostly is speaking |
|
out of. He is speaking out of his fundament. And he is venting |
|
mostly gas. Mostly . . . :( |

Yes, Kerry, I would agree that Trump is a kind of pantomime, and |
|
he certainly would be the 'front end' of a pantomime horse. A |
|
fop must always be assertive to the end, or rather, at the |
|
beginning. :D |

In a sense, Trump's Presidency is a kind of pantomime. It is a |
|
theatrical presentation of a person rather than political |
|
leadership as we have hitherto known it. It involves, at a |
|
certain level, jokes and comedy. I suppose that it must be a |
|
pantomime because Trump is existentially inauthentic. He is not |
|
genuine, so he is always acting, always presenting a false |
|
persona. An actor, of course, needs his theater to show his |
|
talents in the creation of this persona. And also, of course, |
|
the persona is forever morphing, ever changing to meet the needs |
|
of the moment. |

But there is a downside to all this. There is no consideration |
|
of the needs of the audience . . . :( |
