Thank Robyou have fixed it now for me ..I posted on both of
them without an issue. I cant promise that my stubby fingers
wont hit the wrong button again. If they do Im sure Helen
will plonk a book on my head.
We have memories of days gone by , of the night that we
three were practicing at our place for an items we were due
to sing at Stonefield Road .
You were on the guitar , Helen was griping about timing or
somethingyou took the open hymn book plopped on her head like a
hat , and stomped out of the house. ;D
If I remember rightly , the dear-ones enjoyed our singing on
the for mentioned night .
But I dont remember us ever being asked for a encore! Good fun
memories .

Encore no!
I think we did play one or two times when we sang with the chap
I can not remember his name. He played a mouth organ, the
absence of me strumming was a wonderful improvement on our
previous efforts. Great memories fun days!

Robin, Congrats I hear another timestone has been achieved, and
by now the fun and festivities will have moved into the past
tense, and with another year behind, and withall that
accumulated amount of wisdom, can now attend to the problems
and glitches which these 'golden years' seem to bring.
Wow only a month and it's Helens, it's an odd saying, 'how time
flies' GtG it's blood clinic visitation day.

Thank you for the well wishing, yes that was yesterday and we
are in a new day. As we have birthdays Feb 28 March 1st and 5th
by mine we are all a little cake and crisp tired. No matter
because the novelty of birthdays is just slightly beginning to
ware a bit thin. The children love an excuse for Pizza and hot
dogs therefore blessing abounded on all sides. I clambered into
bed with indigestion so it must have been good!

. Im putting this in problems caused by glitches, Helen had
a problem with her ear, so I dutifully had a peer in, and
reported I could see wax in both, but with H it has to be in the
mouth of two or three, so the next day my daughter confirmed my
ear findings, and a docs consultation was prescribed and a
visit made, and the odd oil was deposited in the worst offending
ear.
Our local doc is an English lady from Reading, who I personally
think, thinks Helen is potty anyway but always enjoys her visit.
She did an m,o,t, ear inspection and couldnt do whatever one
does for unblocking ears, booked Helen for another visit but
told her, a liberal amount of 10-30 Olive oil in both ears twice
a day, this is where the glitch arises, Im tone deaf in certain
ranges, but Helen can hear what I say, but now with cotton ear
things in, I speak but get no reply unless I stand in front of
her to get her attention, so this has brought a new dimension to
watching TV as before I would say, what did they say,
now its both of us, I need to get my daughter to captionize the
show, reading might work better than not hearing it all. It is
rather amusing to speak and not get a reply, one would think I
would have learnt being in the Way😇😇😇.
Had my lunch on the balcony, no problem, the glitch was it was
blowing a gale, I had to strap myself in the chair, and proved
that there is many a slip between cup and lip to be true, but
the sun was great.
My mate always had a Son rise open air service for Easter, they
gathered on a bridge and on the banks by the river.
Oh whoops I forgot its Hs supper time.
I used to like those eggs with sweets inside growing up,
definitely beat the hard boiled type even when colour
camouflaged.GtG.

Have been praying for the Lord to do his poking fingers in the
ear to heal the deaf.
One can also purchase wireless headphones. You plug the sender
thing into the TV headphone socket or extension speaker. Its a
small iddy biddy thing, then pop a pair of wireless headphones
on. The advantage is the headphones block out all background
noise and have there own volume control, you can experience a
personal level of volume without overdoing it for others in the
room, and keep them on when you make a visit to the loo or
kitchen for snacks and never miss a thing.
Daniel and I had a discussion while at the shops viewing the
eggs on display. One used to receive an egg decorated with daffs
or violets, inside was a load of chocolates. Now one gets a
white egg with a thin layer of brown choc, nothing in it but
wrapped in foil with a picture of a chick, bunny, or monkey to
choose from. The best bit is the price. They are so expensive,
you know they must be good! They have now
reached a price that I am no longer willing to pay.

Thx for prayers etc James its been a trying couple of
weeks
Your post did trigger some memories. ;D
I remember the lovely eggs we had as kids toowed have at
least three, full of good things. Our Aunts and Uncles visited
quite oftenone time, long after Easter we had the usual visits
..,you walked into the room carrying many broken bits of the
outer shell of a big chocolate egg and offered chocolate to the
visitors. Which was a kind offer of a little boy sharing his
spoils.
Mums unnecessary comment was - Oh what a good boy Robin is,
he saves his, Neil and Jenny are such pigs , they eat them all
in a couple of days!
Mortifying to a child!
Even after thatI still cant remember ever being able to save
chocolate !! Ha!
Todays poor kids have no idea what lovely Easter eggs we had
