ANNOUNCEMENT

I’m not sure if this should be an announcement , or an
apology . Maybe both.
You all know by now that David/mrjhealth put up a post on CB
where he said- “ Wouldn’t to be nice if there was a
safe place to post “
I knew he was thinking much of Pia, who used to be a member on
CB and other soft hearted people like her.
I knew that Mike Waters had for many a year been sad that this
small forum was just sitting here doing nothing. But all that
is old news now.
So I responded to mjrhealths post, as did Mike Waters…and
linked the address of this forum in a post there.
*Nothing underhanded there…everything was open for the
Admins there to see, comment on, or delete.
Some of you, if not all , know I sent out a joint inboxes to
you …it must be well over a month now, maybe two!
Each inbox will only takes five names , so I sent out five
Inboxes including the two Admins... each in a different joint
inbox message.
Saying something like- “Some of us are discouraged with
all the arguing and putting down. (myself chief of sinners)
…how do we make this site CB a better place, and improve
the atmosphere. etc “
One Admin didn’t comment, and the other one kind of said -
“What is, is. There is no respecter of persons
here.” ( or something like that, I forget)
Anyway, a long story short. I then as you know, sent out
individual inboxes , mentioning that we had relaunched this old
site…and if you were interested…'here we
are'…to be used not “instead of” CB but, as it
were..”another room”.
In it, I did mention to the admin , to tell the said Owner ,
that if he really cared for the site ( more than numbers) there
would be more moderating when people mock and sneer at others
for what they believe rather than actually discuss. Plus I
reminded them of my joint inbox sent weeks and weeks ago...
which included them , in asking how we could build a better
atmosphere on CB…

God, not to any forum owner! )
It also said - � They had worked very hard at building up CB ..�
*Needless to say. If anyone wishes to read my response I will
send it to you.
Or I can post it right here openly.
In it, I did mention to the admin , to tell the said Owner ,

here also still posts there. In fact, most of us have always
posted on more than just one forum.

...for harvesting 'their people' by inboxes.
Yet they did nothing about the link I put up inviting people.
I always thought that out of respect and privacy all inboxes
were private...but I suppose a very nervous owner feels to make
sure of what all the members are all talking about in our
inboxes . [emoji52] I knew Facebook does it...I never dreamed
the Owners of "Christian" forums would do it!! Just nosy I
guess..and policing his site.
NOT that there was anything written there that wasn't written on
the open forum.
Pity he doesn't care more about the spiritual side of things. :(
Oh well...it all water under now..

I still like CB, but the mods shouldn't be upset. There have
been plenty of folks voicing their frustrations over the years,
and more so in the past few months. If they want to make the
board better, simply enforce the rules already in place. I
reckon it would take about three weeks of heavy housekeeping for
people to get the message, then it wouldn't be as much of a
task.

One of those to whom you sent PM's probably clicked on 'Report
to Moderator'.
Most forums provide that facility for both posts and for PM's.

Isn't that an invasion of privacy? Hmm. Must be in the small
print somewhere :/
I love CB and spend more time there than here. But I also love
the feel of this small group. It's a good place to come to when
things get a bit heavy on the other, lol.

Having been told by site owners "they can see/read every thing"
. There is nothing privet about posting on the net. As a
moderator i quite telling folks privet messages are privet .

Okay.
This is just a 'heads up' ...I have been banned from the
Christianity Board ..for poaching their members.
So I won't be allowed to post on that board ever.
It is a total Ban...not a suspension.
Nite nite folks sleep well.
And have a good day to those who are just waking up.
