Rita's space
By: Rita Date: April 30, 2015, 2:15 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Many years ago I was advised to read ' Surprised by joy ' by C.S
Lewis. I tried, but for some reason I could not get into it.
Quite recently I decided to download it on to my ereader.
This time I have no problem, I find his story fascinating, and
even from his childhood can see how his creativity would develop
to produced the Narnia books.
I will continue reading as I head out to Germany on Saturday to
spend a week with Paul and Gabi ( my twin brother and my sister
in law )
What led me to pick the book up was the knowledge that C S Lewis
was an athiest who found God later on in his life ( guess I am
looking for hope with Dan ! )
I am rather nervous of flying on my own on saturday, Dan came
with me when I flew last time. Facing my own anxieties - scary !
Have a good week everyone xxx

Have a Bratwurst or two for me Rita; and what ever goes with it;
Malcolm Muggerige was influenced as an atheist by C.s.Lewis and
J.r.Tolkien; always hope for the lost for they can be found;

Good to hear the good news and of your faith for next years big
event.
What a wonderful thing that Dan is anticipating your wishes for
a cleaner house, have you taught him how to use the food mixer?
He could have a meal all ready for your return.
