This is what 'floats my boat'.

It may not be foot stamping, rabble rousing, blue grass, stuff,
but this leads me into a spirit of sincere worship, and deep
peace and thanksgiving.

wow Mikewhat a tear jerker that was very beautifulfloats my
boat too [emoji173]
I was just thinking of all the missing faces there , so I was
very glad when they showed many of the dear departed though
some were still missing from the group
Indeed what a great gathering of the saints it will be
[emoji1374][emoji179]
I just saw tonight , that being released this week is a Winnie
the Pooh horror Movie called Blood and Honey ,.now Ive
heard it all.
As you often say - Beam me up Scottie .me thinks it is
time to roll up the carpet .but Gods time table is probably
not very close to mine!
He would probably just say - But their cup is not yet full .
See you on the ice bro..

. Good one Mike, All of Gods singers. Hopefully that will
include, the foot stompers, rabble rousers, blue grass and us
who enjoy all of Gods people.
As the saying goes, whatever leaves your hair intact I
suppose, have a great day bro.

[size=14pt I wondered when we pick up our harps do we just
join in. No heavenly C&W, no electric back ups, no good
Yorkshire lass singing for
Jesus.

That was different, harps here and a choir over on the other
thread, both good but my floating of boats bias is more to the
ladies in purple dresses.
I found myself singing the old hymn life life eternal life
Jesus alone is the giver. Thought I might put it on here but
its to old for YouTube it seems.

Isa 53 " But he 'wounded' for our transgressions, bruised for
our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and
with his stripes we are healed" there aren't many in the body of
Christ who have not suffered being wounded, and usually with the
wounding comes a spirit of heaviness among a lot of other
emotions,
and by his stripes we are healed. Wounds and healing, odd
thoughts for today.
But this is my boat floater with healing in it's
wings,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6cNIHUhTqY,
what struck
me is, this garment isn't a one size fits all, this is a tailor
made garment for each, who needs one today. A seeming
malfunction at my computer junction on the song, Robin Mark " A
garment of praise for -----"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H65eZmroH0
This my back up,
odd this worked.

[size=14pt]Hi Dave,
Ever since I first struck the wrong cord with you after my
comments on musical taste I realised my mistake, so about time
we levelled out so that you don't have to keep poking.
I'm perfectly happy with 'good' renditions of 'most' styles of
music, but the emphasis (for me) is on 'good' and 'most'.
Makes me realise just how much in life is 'subjective', and that
one size doesn't in fact always suit all.
Reminds me of the days when Nicky and I used to 'lock horns'
over the question of whether fallible man can ever take an
immovable stance regarding 'absolute truth'.
Which, of course, leads us on to the question of 'sinless
perfection'.
Nearest I can get to that is "imperfect, yet forgiven, child of
God".
Do we really "have the mind of Christ", for instance, and can we
really do the 'greater things' as stated in scripture .....
blimey, that now takes us on to the old 'chestnut' of biblical
verbal plenary inspiration.
Is there no end to my ruminations?
