| Weird Wheel found on prewar Lionel Lines No. 257 | |

| Hello all! | |
| I have just acquired my first Lionel trains and am working on | |
| building my set. One of the trains is a prewar Lionel Lines No. | |
| 257. While cleaning it up I noticed something unusual that I | |
| havent seen on any other example. The back right wheel is solid | |
| metal unlike the other three which have spokes. I will attach a | |
| picture to show. Is this normal or was the wheel replaced? Why | |
| would only this one be solid? Thank yall for your time! Im new | |
| to the forum so I hope this post is correct. Any insight yall | |
| have would be great! | |

| Hello & Welcome to thd Forum! | |
| .It appears tfhat at some point the wheel(s) was/were replaced, | |
| probably due to zinc pest. | |
| If you're happy running as is, no problem. | |
| lf you want you want all the same wheels, Forum member Bill | |
| Hennings probably has replacement wheels in stock. Hennings | |
| Trains... | |
| Happy Rails! | |
