My number one choice if I think that the water source is clean, |
|
such as a mountain stream or rain water is the ceramic filter. |
|
It will filter out bacteria, protozoa, and microbial cysts but |
|
the filters are not effective against viruses since they are |
|
small enough to pass through. This technology has been around |
|
since 1827. |
