Just ebayed one of the best portable AM DX receivers you can |
|
buy. The GE Super Radio and the Super Radio II. The Super radio |
|
was designed for apartment dwellers and office workers. It has a |
|
longer and larger ferrite rod antenna for better reception. It |
|
also has improved circuitry not found in cheap portables. This |
|
is why a radio from the late 70S demands $75 and up today. AM |
|
reception is just as important now as it was back in the civil |
|
Defense days. |

Midland I got was worth the 20$ o got it for. Need an antenna |
