Main role [Rei]
N: Clara Dorian
A: 25
S: Female
D: Clara came to the city seeking a way to change the life she
was once living. She had once been a well known Peds doctor in
her hometown, but left when her high school sweetheart and
ex-fiance of 8 years left her high and dry for a woman he'd only
just met. Without much money in her name she picked up what she
had left and moved to the city to take up a position as a
General Practitioner. She didn't want to live in a life where
she knew she would be shown what she was supposed to have, but
didn't end up having.
Clara moved into a small apartment in the lower end of town,
not a bad place to be as she had been told, but not quite the
most pleasant either. She was warned that some nights, the
chatter on the streets got louder and lots of the locals from
the area liked to stay out late into the early hours of the
morning.
Clara has only read fairy tales and been told rumors that
occultists were real, but she has never been exposed to them
personally. She'd heard stories from people that a place like
this was 'breeding grounds' for many of them. She thought that
was a rude way to put it, and often shrugged off the ideas and
rumors anyway.

N: Jamison Fletcher
A: 23
S: Male
D: Jamison is a very recent College graduate. He's spent the
last several years attempting to co-exist among the humans so
that he can take his chosen career choice more seriously and be
able to help those that he sees in need.
Jamison studied technology sciences in school, learning to
develop his skills with computers and mobile devices. He picked
up a job at a local cyber entertainment shop so he could earn
some money to open his own repair shop in a few years.
Jamison doesn't talk with many people, realizing he's far
more different than most of the others who he lives among. But
he tries to be friendly with those he meets and really enjoys
the company of his own kind when he's out during the late hours
of night.

Name: Sophia Barnes
Age: 22
Sex: female
Description: She grew up in a very religious, very anti-occult
household. Her parents were very strict, and hateful towards
others outside their religious community. As soon as Sophia
graduated high school, she took what little money she had saved
up, and left the home. Her parents never inquired about her or
came to look for her.
She has an occult curiousity, but is extremely wary due to the
propaganda that she grew up hearing. She lives in a cheap loft
in the midtown area, very close to the occult community that
reside there, hence the great price.
She works two full time jobs. From 4am to 11am, she works at a
bakery, and from 1pm to 9pm she works at a local nursing home as
a CNA. On weekends, she picks up waitressing shifts at the
corner diner across the street from her apartment.

----------------------------------------
Name: Kiernan Maccleoud
Age: 34
Sex: Male
Race: Shifter
Description: A member of the Bear clan. Kiernan descends from a
clan in the Highlands, but emigrated to the States when he was
16 years old to join one of the communities there. He did
everything for himself, starting out by hanging around
construction sites and managing to get himself an
apprenticeship.
He works full time in construction and logging at times, in a
mixed construction company. However, no one on his crew knows of
his occult status, and he prefers to keep to himself. He lives
away from civilization (human and occult alike), in a lake-side
cabin north of the city.
He married a human girl at the age of 18, but after a decade of
her alcoholism and fights, they divorced. He entertains women,
but keeps no favored company, and never brings anyone back to
his home.

Kiernan Maccleod ran a hand through his thick, dark hair before
swiping it down his face. He stared into his open fridge, seeing
nothing but empty take out boxes and expired milk. He couldn't
remember the last time he had gone grocery shopping, but surely
he hadn't skimped out? Shutting the door, he turned to the
pantry and examined it's contents; rather, the lack thereof. He
groaned, realizing that a shopping trip was in order. Walking
back to his bedroom, he pulled on some jeans and a forest green
Henley before grabbing his socks. Moments later, he was in his
black dodge ram 2500, driving down the road into the city. He
hated going into the city. Too many sour and invasive smells;
which was a big part of the reason he had decided to live out in
the country. Reaching over, he fiddled with the radio, settling
on the local rock station which was surprisingly good. Ramble On
has just started, and he bobbed his head to it. Per usual, he
found himself lost in the music, and it carried him all the way
through until he reached the multi-level shopping center. He
parked his truck and then locked it as he started in, pulling
his fleecelined jean jacket closer.

Clara tucked a strand of her platinum blonde hair behind her ear
as she bent down to examine the cans on the lower shelf and
their price. She couldn't believe how different these prices
were from her big city living costs. She looked at her list and
double checked the items on it, then nodded once and grabbed a
couple of the cans she had been looking at. She stood up
straight and put them in her already half full shopping cart.
She sighed as she resumed pushing her cart down the aisle,
looking for the next item on her list. This was all so new to
her. Back in the city, she had been able to afford someone to do
her shopping for her, as she was mostly never home long enough
to even cook a decent meal. But this move had changed everything
for her, not only the loss of a warm body in her bed, but the
loss of luxuries and her friends and even her family who didn't
approve of her 'running away' from her problems. But she didn't
care anymore. This is what felt right, and she'd be d*mned if
anyone was going to stop her.
She continued down the next aisle, filled on one entire side
with wines and other alcoholic beverages. She stopped and chewed
her lip as she thought about buying a few bottles. After a few
moments of thought, she nodded and grabbed two bottles of red
wine, then continued her shopping.

Kiernan lumbered through the aisles, almost mindlessly putting
groceries in his cart. Cans of vegetables, boxes of stuffing,
instant mashed potatoes, soups, noodles, cereal, and endless
snacks. He paused and looked down for a moment; his cart was
nearly full and he hadn't even gotten to the meat. He ran a hand
through his hair and left his cart, out of the way, and went to
go grab another one. Right as he was about to turn back to his
aisle, he nearly ran over a tiny blonde woman coming from the
alcohol. He immediately stopped.
"Sorry," he rumbled.

She halted her cart quickly and looked at the man who'd just
about ran into her. "Oh, excuse me..." she responded, her grip
tightened on the cart from being startled. She looked at the man
only for a moment, and her cheeks turned red, feeling bad that
she'd almost hit him with her cart. "You okay?" she asked.

"I'm fine, are you?" he asked speaking a bit louder. His Irish
accent started to come through as he did. It was just a hint,
not thick enough.

She nodded, and smiled. She loved the accent he spoke with and
it made her blush a little that he returned concern. "I'm
alright. Thanks." She started to pull her cart back and then
stopped. "Say, can I ask you a question?"

"I suppose, sure," he replied, looking down at her. Her shifted
his weight as he moved to get more comfortable.
