Hypothetically, trace amounts of all minerals are available |
|
across the whole map. But the answer to your question is: Coal |
|
is most abundant in the Burnt Forest biome. You'll find that |
|
the other minerals also have a favored biome (except Iron). |
|
If you haven't taken advantage of it already, please use this |
|
lovely map (courtesy of Madman) as a reference guide! |

Look at streams of alpha 187 from the pre release weekend, (this |
|
is how i learned) and see what a coal surface node looks like. I |
|
see them in the green forest area. logs of coal below them...it |
|
is not just the rock at the surface. |
|
ill try to attach a pic next time I see one. |
