| Not far off for the spec...I had a similar spec make around | |
| 175hp with 276 cams...not one of ours, I just supplied an inlet | |
| manifold and a second hand DTA ecu and set it up. | |
| What compression ratio are you on Robin?...those cams your using | |
| should run with 11:1...so a fair bit off the head if the bottom | |
| end has'nt been touched. | |
| Looks like the power is still climbing at 7000 but they stopped | |
| reving it there? | |

| The bottem end is completley standard, so the compression ratio | |
| will be 10:1. | |
| This is the cilinderhead where you helped me with the | |
| dimensions. | |
| Power was still going up, the man who tested the car sad, i stop | |
| by 7000rpm because there were standard valve springs in the | |
| block. I don't know how far you can rev the std springs? | |
| Cams are from catcams: inlet is 283degrees and 11,5mm lift | |
| exhaust 279degrees and 11,5mm lift. | |
| I had a bitt of a struggle of the exit of the corners, most of | |
| the corners were second gear and im running the std 020 2y box, | |
| i struggled to stay in the powerband. | |
| Now i will fit a other final drive, i hope that helps. | |
| maybe a 180 bhp in it? | |

| I reckon yeah...even reving on to around 7500 you'll find more | |
| power up there. ..around another 5-6...peak with those cams will | |
| be around 7500...std springs ok there. .some rev them to just | |
| short of 8000 but that's pushing it really. | |
| The dynamic/running compression ratio will be too low with those | |
| cams and the std 10:1....you'll be around 3/4-1 ratio too low, | |
| so another bit of power missing there...you would make yr 180 | |
| with ease then...a bit over id say. | |
| You have a good starting point tho. | |
