| Interventions and Confessions | |
| By: Jack Date: February 13, 2025, 12:34 am | |

| This occurred Sunday, 2 February 2025 | |
| ***** | |
| Some of you may know that there was a long time when I wasnt | |
| active much and havent been active on my forum. A few of you | |
| know at least part of the reasons why. | |
| I know our actions affect other people, but thats recently been | |
| rubbed in my face. | |
| It was early Sunday afternoon, and one of my favorite people in | |
| the world came up to me. | |
| Hey, Ennis, I greeted him, opening my arms for a hug. | |
| I got my hug, but Ennis seemed very down. | |
| Ennis is a senior in high school this year, but Ive known him | |
| for over a decade now. Ennis is incredibly cute. Hes | |
| seventeen, but he was a very late bloomer, hes only about 55 | |
| right now, and he looks like a young thirteen-year old. Hes | |
| also one of the sweetest people Ive ever known. | |
| One of the saddest things Ive seen in years, and one of the | |
| things that made me angriest, was about eight years ago, when | |
| his parents went to Europe to adopt a child. | |
| Im not going to re-hash all the ways that upset me, but I will | |
| mention that his parents took off work, left their kids along | |
| with an ongoing string of friends and relatives, while they took | |
| a trip by themselves. In December. I finally called the | |
| parents and moved the boys in with me until the parents got | |
| back. | |
| The worst thing about all this is that the girl they adopted was | |
| very close in age to Ennis, and I mean months, not years. That | |
| hit him hard, made him feel inadequate and unwanted. | |
| The fact that Ennis oldest brother, Sean, had an affair with my | |
| son Parker that went on for several years, and he never told his | |
| parents, just sealed my dislike of them. | |
| I mention all that to say, when I see Ennis upset or down, it | |
| gets my protective instincts up fast. | |
| Are you okay, bud? | |
| Instead of answering, he wrapped his arms around my waist and | |
| leaned his head against my chest. | |
| Can we talk? | |
| Sure. | |
| In your office? | |
| Okay. | |
| Jack? he asked as we settled onto my office couch. | |
| Yeah? | |
| You know I love you, and Id never mean to hurt you, right? | |
| Yeah, buddy, I know that. | |
| Theres something weve been discussing for a while, and I | |
| needed to talk to you anyway, so I volunteered. | |
| May I ask who we is? | |
| He squirmed around to look at me. | |
| I probably shouldnt tell you, but | |
| He went on to name himself, Connor, Curtis, Duncan, Linc and | |
| Royce Tidwell, Brandon Malone, Eli Marchant, Drake and Ed | |
| Rawlins, a number of my grandsons who live in the area, and said | |
| there had been others. | |
| You know our big brothers tease us about you spoiling us? | |
| I knew they teased Connor and Curtis. | |
| Its not just teasing, Jack, and theyre right. | |
| How do you mean? | |
| I mean Jack, we.. I mean just me and a couple of the older | |
| kids and Craig, we talked to like PJ and Marcus and a couple of | |
| others. We know youve been having some health trouble, and | |
| when Mary and Rose died, and then I guess there was other stuff | |
| they didnt want to talk about. We know youre tired and sad | |
| and dont feel well, but We need you. | |
| Im still here, Ennis. | |
| Not really, he said, and I didnt have to look to see he was | |
| nearly in tears, but I did glance to make sure. | |
| You remember last night, my mom called to make sure I was | |
| here? | |
| I nodded. | |
| After she called, I left. Went to a party. If Sean had tried | |
| something like that, you would have noticed it, traced him down, | |
| and dragged him out of the party, by his ear, in front of | |
| anyone, then brought him back here and paddled him hard enough | |
| to leave him sleeping on his belly. | |
| What makes you think I would have done that? | |
| Because you did it to him and Parker both when they sneaked off | |
| to a party. | |
| I just nodded, but Ill admit that is a pretty strong argument. | |
| At that point, I heard something, and it sounded distressingly | |
| like a sob. I looked down, | |
| Jack, Ennis addressed me, looking much younger than even the | |
| twelve or thirteen year old he appeared to be. | |
| Are you saying you want me to spank you? | |
| He shook his head. | |
| Youre saying you need me to spank you. | |
| There was a long pause before he nodded. | |
| I cuddled him more closely against my chest for a long moment. | |
| Ennis, are you telling me that you guys feel like Ive been | |
| ignoring you too much, because Ive been depressed, and now you | |
| confess to me. Is that about it? | |
| He nodded again. | |
| I sighed. | |
| Stand up. Shirt up. | |
| Ennis was dressed nicely. Ennis always dressed nicely. He | |
| untucked his polo and lifted it up until his hands were in his | |
| armpits. I leaned forward, undid his belt, lowered the zipper, | |
| then unbuttoned his pants. I looked up at him, and saw him | |
| looking back at me. I'm not sure what it was, but I felt like | |
| something else was happening here. | |
| Ennis, are you sure this isnt something we can talk about? | |
| He shook his head, so I slid his khakis down his smooth legs and | |
| had him step out of them. Ennis never outgrew briefs, except | |
| for a short period when he started public high school and had to | |
| take gym class. I reached up and slid the briefs down after his | |
| khakis. He stepped out of those as well. I looked up at him | |
| and sighed. | |
| Spanking chair, buddy. | |
| He went and pulled the straight backed, wooden chair from the | |
| corner and moved it to the center of the room. I went to the | |
| paddle drawer and looked inside. For a boy his age and size, | |
| the novelty Lexan was really the only choice. It wasnt too | |
| hard to find, so I stood and stepped over to the chair. I | |
| started to bring Ennis to my right side, then stopped. | |
| You know this is going to be harsh, En. You wanna go over just | |
| my left leg? | |
| He paused for a second, then nodded, so I spread my legs. He | |
| stepped between them, and I helped him over my left leg, then I | |
| moved my right to pin his legs down. Ive recently learned a | |
| new method of securing a boys hands by holding his thumbs, but | |
| it didnt feel right to me, so I wound my arm and his together, | |
| so his right hand was tucked up past my bicep, and I took a firm | |
| grip on his hip. | |
| I thought about saying more or trying to talk him out of it, | |
| but | |
| Ennis, why are you about to get spanked? | |
| Because I lied to my parents, and I used you to cover it up. | |
| Close. Youre getting spanked for lying and abusing my trust. | |
| Im sorry, Jack. And I know, this isnt about sorry. Im | |
| ready. | |
| There wasnt much to think about. Ennis had known what was | |
| coming when he confessed, and I had the distinct feeling he | |
| wouldnt think me for taking it easy. I used the old, standard | |
| pattern, one, two, three straight down with the paddle centered | |
| to catch both cheeks about equally, then four down the left | |
| cheek and four down the right. Three more down the middle, and | |
| two towards each side, leaving his entire bottom coloring and | |
| the middle already a dark rose as I went three more down the | |
| center, than a couple back and forth on each sit spot, before | |
| placing four on each leg with the paddle angled to catch the | |
| outer thighs the first time and the inner thighs on the return. | |
| Ennis was struggling quickly, and as I finished my second trip | |
| down the center, he was yipping. As I started paying attention | |
| to his sit spots, he was starting to sob, and before I finished | |
| with the swats to his upper thighs, he was really crying. | |
| And then I did it again. | |
| The poor kid was howling before I finished his bottom the third | |
| time, when I turned my attention to those more tender spots, | |
| turning them the same deep red as his upper cheeks, he was | |
| bawling, and before I finished the last few smacks to his | |
| thighs, he was just lying limply across my leg. | |
| I tossed that damned paddle on the couch, then picked up his | |
| legs and swung him around so he was lying on my lap. I rubbed | |
| his back with one hand while the other carefully rubbed his | |
| rear. | |
| He cried hard and loud, and I was a little surprised at how | |
| long. When he finally started to settle down, I picked him up | |
| and turned him to sit in my lap, being very careful to keep the | |
| pressure off those tender spots that had received so much | |
| attention. He cuddled against my chest and cried. When he | |
| finally got himself under a bit of control, I helped him to his | |
| feet. | |
| Corner? | |
| No. Lets get you cleaned up. | |
| He nodded, and we headed towards the office door, but he clung | |
| to my arm. | |
| Stay with me. | |
| I nodded and promised I would. | |
| ********** | |
| Ennis wasnt very steady on his feet yet, so I had his arm over | |
| my shoulder and my arm around his waist. He had no desire to | |
| put his briefs back on, and considering how much skinnydipping | |
| we do here, I saw no reason he had to. We left my office, and I | |
| came to such a quick stop, Ennis stumbled, then hissed. | |
| Sorry, I mumbled to him, looking at the crowd his spanking had | |
| drawn. | |
| When Ennis and I had gone into my office, Nick, Duncan, Connor, | |
| and Curtis had been home. I wasnt too surprised that theyd | |
| checked to see who was getting it, but I was surprised they were | |
| just blatantly camped out in the living room so they could watch | |
| my office door. I was even more surprised to see that Asher | |
| Strouse, Ennis big brother whos doing his first two years of | |
| college locally, my son, Emmet and his nephews, Marcus adopted | |
| sons, Kline, Glen, and Paden, Chris, Linc, Bo, and Royce | |
| Tidwell. | |
| Seriously? I asked the crowd. | |
| They all had the grace to at least look embarrassed. | |
| I was on the couch and Ennis was curled up beside me. Wed | |
| gotten him cleaned up in my bathroom, and hed traded his polo | |
| for one of my undershirts which hung on him like a nightgown. I | |
| wasnt at all surprised that Asher had nearly been growling at | |
| me while making sure his little brother had survived. I was a | |
| bit surprised by the attention Glen was showering on him, from | |
| fetching drinks for him, to bringing him Kleenex when he | |
| sniffled. | |
| So all of you support this lunacy? I addressed the group. | |
| None of them wanted to admit it, but no one disagreed either. | |
| Fine. Nick, didnt I tell you to have your room cleaned up | |
| yesterday? | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| Did you? | |
| No, sir. | |
| In my office. Bare yourself. Connor, Curtis, and Duncan? | |
| Yes, sir? | |
| Were going to do a deep dive on your chores and homework | |
| folders this evening, so you might want to double check | |
| everything. Chas? | |
| Yes, sir? | |
| Are you seriously telling me you need a spanking? | |
| The nineteen-year old college sophomore blushed deeply and shook | |
| his head. No, sir, he added, but these three could really | |
| use you following up at the Academy. Dads been really busy. | |
| He paused, blushing again, before he went on, I really do need | |
| to talk to you, if you have time. | |
| I always have time for you, buddy. Emmet? | |
| Not me, Dad. Kline and Glen were arguing about driving, so I | |
| took the keys. They could both probably use a trip to your | |
| office, though. | |
| Ill let their father handle that. Dont want him to think Im | |
| intruding. | |
| Im sure he wouldnt mind, Emmet replied with a smile. | |
| Everyone, I said, raising my voice to address the room, Im | |
| really glad to see you all. Im glad you were all worried about | |
| me. Thank you. However, its been a long time since brunch. I | |
| dont want to keep Nick waiting, so let me go deal with that, | |
| and would someone hit the kitchen and see if you can russell up | |
| some snacks? | |
| ********** | |
| An hour later, Nick had taken two swats with the medium Lexan | |
| and then performed an incredibly cute Brat War Dance. Wed all | |
| shared snacks and talked for a while, and now Connor, Curtis, | |
| and Duncan were upstairs, making sure their ducks were in a row, | |
| and almost everyone else had gone home. I was back in my | |
| regular armchair, while Ennis, Asher, and Glen said together on | |
| the couch. | |
| Ennis, you were very upset before I spanked you. Youve had | |
| your spanking, but you still seem upset. Please talk to me, | |
| buddy. | |
| Did you know Sophies already been invited to prom? | |
| Sophie is the Strouses adopted daughter. Shes a sweet girl, | |
| and I have absolutely nothing against her, but the way she was | |
| brought into the family made Ennis feel insecure and unloved, | |
| which is why he and I had grown so close. Hes lived with her, | |
| and they seem to get along okay, but its still a bit of a sore | |
| topic for me. | |
| I shook my head. | |
| Mom and Dad have been bugging me about it, and if I was going | |
| to ask someone. I tried to blow them off and ignore it, and | |
| Well, I needed to talk to you about getting money for prom, but | |
| I just wasnt sure what to do. Anyway, I finally got sick of | |
| them bugging me, and I kind of lost my temper and told them I | |
| had already invited someone. | |
| You dont say that like its good news, Ennis. | |
| Asher had his arm around his baby brothers shoulders, but I | |
| couldnt help but notice that Ennis and Glen were holding hands. | |
| Im his date, Grandpa. | |
| Congratulations, I said with a smile, but then stopped. | |
| Ennis had reminded me of Parker and Sean earlier. Parker and | |
| Sean had dated off and on for more than three years, but Sean | |
| had hid it from his parents. For one thing, Sean loved Parker, | |
| but he was sure he wasnt strictly gay, and he wasnt sure what | |
| he really liked. On the other hand, he very much did not want | |
| to inform his parents. | |
| Ennis, I need you to use your words, Buddy. | |
| They told me to leave the table, and they just quit talking to | |
| me. | |
| Coventry is a hard place to live. Would you rather live here? | |
| Tears were running down his face as he looked up at me and | |
| nodded. | |
| Can he? Asher asked. | |
| It was my turn to nod. Running away is a status offense, which | |
| means it only applies to people under sixteen,. Ill check with | |
| a friend in the local police department, just to make sure | |
| theres no trouble. | |
| Thank you, Jack, Asher said, climbing to his feet. | |

| Ennis' parents didn't make things easy. They didn't want to let | |
| Ennis go someplace where they couldn't make his life miserable. | |
| We got by, because he actually is slightly smaller than Curtis. | |
| It only took me a couple of days to get things straightened | |
| out, and when the Strouse's wouldn't talk to me, I got a couple | |
| of police officers to go over there with us and get his stuff. | |
| His DNA-donors tried to get me in trouble, but I still have | |
| their legal permission to care for him, and one of the police | |
| officers that went with us has a gay son. | |
| Ennis is still feeling insecure (again - and may I say | |
| f‍uck his parents?), but Asher has been coming by as often | |
| as he can (and is fighting with his parents a lot), and Sean is | |
| coming to visit us this weekend. It's hardest for Lucas, | |
| because he's in his junior year and doesn't go to school | |
| locally, but he cancelled some plans for Spring Break so he can | |
| come visit his baby brother. | |
| Since this occurred, I have NOT given any more full spankings. | |
| I have given a few swats, and I've had long talks with a number | |
| of boys and young men who have been feeling a bit adrift. | |
| And yes, there were a lot of reasons I quit updating this forum, | |
| and part of it was due to loss of family members. i'm tired and | |
| I've been dealing with some serious depression issues, but I've | |
| been forcefully reminded that I do still have duties, and I'm | |
| expected to meet them. I was chatting yesterday evening, and | |
| was late to help get dinner on the table, so I was put in a | |
| corner while it was completed. Call it an attack on the chain | |
| of command if you'd like, but I find I'm okay with someone | |
| helping me hold myself accountable. | |

| I hope those duties and responsibilities help you fell better, | |
| Jack. Feeling useful and loved has to help. | |
| Anyway, this was a very touching story. I'm glad you are still | |
| helping kids. | |
