Layout of New Forum |

While I haven't had time to work on the new forum yet, there are |
|
a few points upon which I would like feedback before I have to |
|
start it. |
|
First, I'm thinking of a different approach to doing |
|
biographies. |
|
I'm thinking about a two-part system. First of all will be |
|
something like this |

/>which will just have the basics - mostly things that don't |
|
change. That will allow people to have an easy to read |
|
reference. The second will be more like what we had before, |
|
which will include ongoing details as they occur. |
|
Another suggestion is to have a Bransom Wiki. As I've said |
|
before, that kind of thing isn't real easy for me. However, it |
|
will allow for multiple people to work on it. |
|
I will say now that I'm only thinking about my part of the |
|
forum. For the general part, I think it will remain pretty much |
|
like it is now (so if you can think of something else you'd |
|
like, you should mention it now). I'm expecting to have two or |
|
three parts to start - Announcements, New Member Introductions, |
|
and something like General News. |
|
One of the big questions I have about my part of the forum is |
|
about Families, as opposed to Biographies. While I was always |
|
doing families in the introduction section, many of them came to |
|
seem like group biographies. Should I just include Famlies in |
|
biographies, or maybe have a separate part? |
|

In my opinion, Families could be done in Biographies. I see it |
|
as a convenient way to group the bio info about related |
|
characters. |

biographies for each boy |
