Cold hearts v4
Flown in 4.14.1
Date 21st June 2020
Results No points but survived.
Briefing
Took off after flight leader and was strafed soon after lift
off. Nearly forgot to retract undercarriage! A Yak flew in front
of me and climbed away so I chased it and set its engine
smoking. As I did this I was bounced from behind and my engine
was shot out straight away. The enemy kept firing at me even
though I was out of action. I intended to glide back to base as
I was at 1400ft but the enemy was determined to kill me so I
took a chance and baled out. Survived unwounded but nil points.

Cold hearts v4
Flown in BAT WAW 3.8.4
Date 24st June 2020
Results: 2 kills
For several years I have flown this mission regularly, in its
original version, which is slightly more difficult than this, as
a training mode. Each time the results are very different, as on
this occasion, where despite having considerably softened the
aggressiveness of the enemies, I was quickly shot down.
