Eating the the Evening

I'm finding that there's no easy answer to the eating in the
evening challenge! I've started taking myself out of the house
in the evening. So I've signed up to a fitness class from 7-8pm.
I agree that Summer time (although it lashing out today!) is a
good time to start introducing these sort of changes. I need
more structure in the evening. Instead of sitting watching tv
and eating, of course.

Evening can be tough. It can be really helpful to remind
yourself why you are making these changes right now. This could
include Because this kind of eating makes me struggle and
leaves me feeling bad about yourself, Because I deserve better
than being caught in a cycle of overeating, restricting and
feeling disappointed in myself. Reminding yourself day to day
and even moment to moment can really help especially as impulse
moments or evenings can throw your eating off track.
In other words you need to believe really deeply in yourself and
in your vision of what is important for you. This sort of
moment-to-moment awareness can really help bring about positive
change in your eating.

I'm taking myself out of the kitchen after dinner. That's been
really helpful over the last few weeks. I'm not lurking or
hovering in the kitchen. Out of sight out of mind!
