Ghost music |

Ghost music - music you have not thought about for many years |
|
that suddenly comes to mind, with no obvious trigger to have |
|
brought up the memory. |
|
Where did this music go all of those years, and why is it back |
|
now? |
|
This version of this song hit me today and I just had to find it |
|
and listen to it again. I saw him perform in Santa Barbara |
|
maybe 14 years ago. I enjoyed his performance enough that |
|
afterward I purchased a CD, which he grabbed from his backpack. |
|
IIRC, I gifted the CD to my musician neighbor (he loved it) with |
|
intentions of ordering another for myself but never replaced it. |
|
Still sounds pretty good to me. |
|
Do you have any ghost music hauntings to share? This one |
|
certainly took me back to when I still dreamed of one day living |
|
in the middle of my Pacific ocean. |

Great category. Just recently I was driving and the theme song |
|
from Cirque du Soleil's Alegria blasted into my mind outta |
|
nowhere. I had a little windfall and bought six tickets for a |
|
performance in Atlanta and took my daughter and her two, my |
|
boyfriend at the time and his son, and myself. This was about |
|
2005 or 6. |

This ghost song popped up this week and it is still hanging on. |
|
Fall of 2010. I was writing like crazy to stay on schedule to |
|
graduate the following June. I had finished the second of three |
|
chapter of my thesis, which was over 100 pages once completed. |
|
I came up for air before pressing on to finish the last chapter |
|
and this song was everywhere. What happened to these guys? |
