What are you reading?

So, I thought it'd be fun to share what we're all currently
reading, and whether we'd recommend it.
I just finished 'Split the Party' by Drew Hayes. It's fantasy
that plays with D&D tropes in a really clever way. Good humor
and great characters, and an interesting plot. Would definitely
recommend to anyone in to fantasy.

I will have to check that out. I do love fantasy as a genre,
although currently I'm reading 'zeus grants stupid wishes'. It's
pretty funny to me, a somewhat irreverent take on several
religions.

Just finished up the third book of The Gentlemen Bastards series
from Scott Lynch. A reread.
Because I heard a rumor that the 4th book is coming out soon.

I'm reading "How To Be You," by Jeffrey Marsh, which is
wonderful. After that comes either J Michael Straczynski's
"Together We Will Go," or Mary K Backstrom's "Holy Hot Mess."

I'm moving my post from another thread, since it now appears to
be better placed here! Thanks for starting this, Mr Bay!
I"m a huge, HUGE fan of Kazuo Ishiguro. :) I just downloaded
"Klara and the Sun". It looks amazing.
NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER Once in a great while, a book comes
along that changes our view of the world. This magnificent novel
from the Nobel laureate and author of Never Let Me Go is an
intriguing take on how artificial intelligence might play a role
in our futures ... a poignant meditation on love and loneliness
(The Associated Press).
I think I've loved everything the man has written, and so this
is so eagerly anticipated. Anyone else read it yet?

Currently reading At Home: A Short History of Private Life by
Bill Bryson. It's great! A quick and easy read, definitely
recommend if you like historical nonfiction.
Although I have said "oh, EW" out loud a few times. Did you know
that early latrine benches had multiple holes in them, for "ease
of conversation"?

I'm currently reading The Sixteen Trees of the
Somme(fiction) by Lars Mytting. I am only a few chapters in,
but loving the quality of the writing.
I earlier read The Bell in the Lake by the same author.
Although it was fiction, there were lovely descriptions of
Norwegian stave churches, and why most of them were pulled down.
