| The Toymakers | |

| I just finished a great book, "The Toymakers" by Robert | |
| Dinsdale. | |
| From the Amazon description: | |
| "It is 1917, and while war wages across Europe, in the heart of | |
| London, there is a place of hope and enchantment. | |
| The Emporium sells toys that capture the imagination of children | |
| and adults alike: patchwork dogs that seem alive, toy boxes that | |
| are bigger on the inside, soldiers that can fight battles of | |
| their own. Into this family business comes young Cathy Wray, | |
| running away from a shameful past. The Emporium takes her in, | |
| makes her one of its own. | |
| But Cathy is about to discover that the Emporium has secrets of | |
| its own..." | |
| Liked it so much that when I finished the ebook, I ordered a | |
| hard copy. I do that about once a year. | |

| MW, this sounds fascinating, thanks for sharing! | |
| I'm going to move it under "Entertainment" just because we would | |
| like to keep the "General Discussion" for stuff that doesn't fit | |
| into the other categories, unless there's a reason that you | |
| think it should remain where it is? | |

| No worries! I just didn't want to move it without saying | |
| something, and leave you scratching your head. ;) | |

| Mice do look adorable scratching their heads though. | |
| I am going to add this to the wishlist. | |
