An amazing voice, an amazing range, an amazing artist - deeply |
|
troubled and just as deeply passionate and determined to try to |
|
make the world better. I am sorry that she is no longer with us, |
|
but I will continue to remember and enjoy her music - which I |
|
first encountered in high school, when my roommate put on The |
|
Lion and The Cobra... and I was hooked. I have played that album |
|
and many of her later songs more times than I can count. I |
|
respect how hard she stood up for what she believed in. |
