HOW TO TURN OFF SPLASH SCREEN FROM PORTABLE APPLICATION

---------------------------------------------------------
One of the most annoying things
about portable applications is their
splash screen which greets you
every time you open one of them! If
you can not stand all this, I have got
a nice hack which will let you turn
off and get rid of the hated splash
screen in a matter for seconds, for
good!
1. Click Start.
2. In the Search Field, type Computer
and press Enter.
3. Now, double click the USB drive
which contains the portable
application. (It is labeled
 Removable Disk)
4. Now browse to the following
location: PortableApps
\Your_Portable_Application\Other
\Source
5. In this folder you will find a special
icon which has got .ini extension.
Right-click it and Open it with your
Notepad.
6. The txt file will show you a lot of
incomprehensible commands.
7. Locate DisableSplashScreen=False.
This command manages the splash
screen of the portable application.
8. Simply change False to True and the
Splash screen will disappear next
time you open the app!
9. Save the file with the new change.
10. Right-click it and copy the file.
11. Now go to the following directory
(folder): PortableApps
\Your_Portable_Application and
paste the .ini file right there!
