Resistance 3 Demo Impression |

Well today see's the release of Battle: Los Angeles on dvd and |
|
Blu Ray. |
|
The big reasons for getting the film on Blu Ray is that it comes |
|
with a 1 level playable demo of Resistance 3 |
|
The demo level is sees you on a boat defending as you try and |
|
get towards deeper water, your equipped with a couple of guns |
|
and ammo crate and health pack all on the boat. Well needless to |
|
say soon the Chimera soon start to attack the boat...and you and |
|
your charged with defending it as you start to fight electric |
|
flying bots and a few different waves of Chimera. |
|
The demo seems to flow quite easily though and can handle a lot |
|
of action at once, the variety of weapons is nice to see as you |
|
can play around with the different guns and see what is what. So |
|
far the shotgun seems to be my favourite as the Chimera jump to |
|
get on the boat there is something satisifying about gunning |
|
them down mid jump with a shotgun....maybe thats just me tho. |
|
Soon the bad turns to worse when you notice a Goliath walking |
|
fairly close to your position on the boat so you try and get |
|
away... Well lets just say at first it appears to have worked |
|
and then the **** hits the fan and you had wished you had taken |
|
him out while you had the chance. |

I`m so hoping the game is more like the first one than the |
|
second. Don`t get me wrong the second one was good but the first |
|
one was everything was just about bang on. |

It is hard to tell because your on a boat with a lot of fog on |
|
the river so there isn't anything to explore other than the view |
|
from the boat. However on the rare occassion it does clear up it |
|
does look good. |

Like the look of that. Some pretty good looking guns as well, |
|
each giving an obvious difference in power. |
|
