Is this a cheap game?
Never played a snooker game on a console and wouldn't fancy
paying much for one. Would give it a go if it was cheap.

It`s gonna be about 30 - 35 in online stores when it comes
out. Don`t know about in shops?
I`f your looking fo a cheap snooker game Hustle Kings is a PSN
pool game with a snooker add on pack and it`s not dear. Might be
worth holding off though as you`ll probably be able to get it
discounted or even for free on Playstation Plus at some point.
You know how these things work you`d buy it full price in the PS
store then it`d be on plus a week later ;)

never played a snooker game?? lol snooker 07 and wsc real 09
were great , 09 shades it imo . love the snooker games even
better if you dont want to button bash or play the same kind of
games over and over again , i.e blops , killzone 3 , moh , bc2
. 07 and 09 are way better than hustle kings and that is more
like pool paradise from a few years back. it is a snooker game
not a pool one . plus you play all the real players.
a few of us had 09 on here the last time so i would say if you
aint sure of it then rent it. 29.99 outa game btw

I've played plenty of snooker games on PC, just something I've
never thought to buy for a console. Cancelled my Lovefilm so
can't give it a rent. Assume they quickly go down in price
anyway?

aye and naw with the price going down , gamestation at christmas
had 09 for 17.99 but on boxing day it was 9.99. i got 09 brand
new on release for 34.99 from game when it came out sold it last
november on ebay for 18.50 . no bad for a year old game . only
problem i had with 09 was there was no trophies on it and the
online multiplayer was a bit laggy , but picked 09 up again on
boxing day as i missed a quiet game of something and they
patched the online mode but still no trophy support. i think 11
with have trophies this time lol . cashconvertors had 09 for
7.99and 07 for 6.99 ??? 07 to me was better on the ps2 than
the ps3.
its came a long way from jimmy white's whirlwind snooker :D
that was a belter of a game aswell .

I might get it.. Sort of game more suitable for old fogies
like me... lol, I've actually had Virtual Pool 3 on the PC for
some years, also on the laptops, and have become quite decent at
it. In fact I also bought the updated download version of it
they recently released.
I have an older version WSC on the PS3 but have not played for
ages, IMO VP3 on the PC is still the best release for this type
of game, playability and graphics are excellent considering it's
age.
So... yes I will look out for latest 2011 WSC, I think it may be
out, unless I saw an older version on Asda's shelves last
week... not everyones cup of tea, but sometimes it's nice to
play a relaxing type of game.
I just found the console versions a wee bit gimmicky compared to
VP3 on the PC.
