Currently reading Asimov's classic The Foundation Saga. Very
interesting, he has excellent character development, and the
beauty of his writing comes from the dialogue situations that he
creates with the characters.
Reejan; I have read The Hobbit, I thought it was very good. The
best parts for me were the way that Tolkien was able to describe
Middle Earth and the it's residents. Are you enjoying it?

to pass the time at uni I read Assasin's Creed Renaissance which
is basically the story of Assassin's Creed 2. despite completely
the game a year ago it's still a good read, much better than any
of the books I have to read for class and the closest I can get
to being on PS3 at uni

I'm reading Mark Billingham The Burning Girl and so far it's
very good.
He's the author of the books that Sky 1 turned into a little
mini series not long back, with the detective Thorne. Books and
program are worth indulging in.

I'm still reading my way through the CHERUB book series written
by Robert Muchamore (yes I promise that's his name). His first
book The Recuit was the first book I ever read because I have
ADD its hard to read books but the books are brilliant!

Just about to start reading Ben Kanes' final Forgetten Legion
book, the Road to Rome. On my new Kindle.
I am a big fan of Military Books Fact and Fiction. Sci-Fi and
the Romans feature heavily in my book collection!

Blug, I really recommend anything by Asimov. If you enjoy your
science fiction you will really enjoy it. If you do read it,
start with Foundation. It takes about 50 pages to get into, but
there are a further 6 books after it that are truly amazing.
PLus it contains my all time favourite villian, The Mule!
