Is your Wii a dust gatherer?

As a gamer i should love my Wii but had it for a few years now
and its hardly been used.
Any suggestions for games that'll get me interested in this
console again would be appreciated folks.
Also does anyone else feel the best game on it is the wii sports
disc you get with the console.

Mostly to the dust gatherer question I would say yes, but we
were on it today and it was brilliant. It`s a cracking thing for
family games and it`s a shame we hardly ever use it.
I think the first party games (like Wii Sports, Mario Kart,
Super Smash Bros ect) are excellent and well worth getting but
the ones from other devs are a bit hit and miss.
One game I should have played more on was Monster Hunter Tri, I
was a big fan on the PS2 and PSP but only played around 15/20
hrs on the Wii ( which on Monster Hunter is like the tutorial
levels) but got side tracked by other games and never went back
to it.

I would seriously recommend new super mario bros. Not only a
great game that goes back to it's roots but it has a
simitainious 4 player option. It's great playing it as a family
and one of the only games my wife will play

Mine has been sitting there for ages without use (unless the bbc
iplayer on the ps3 messes up) and I wish there was more I could
do with it but with so many ps3 games that I play, I find making
time for it impossible.
Mario Kart is a great game and online is very good too. It would
be good to get on it with some people for a fun night. New super
Mario Bros is a great game too but I found it very quick to
finish but it does have extended life when playing multi player.

Mine as hardly been turned on all year, until Christmas day that
is. We had a bit of a party so it came onto use for Just Dance,
now kids won't get off it.
To be honest it's the kids console anyway, and they're usually
too busy fighting with each other to have time to play it!

Another game I would seriously recommend especially if you owned
the SNES version is Donkey Kong Returns. As with Super Mario it
plays just like the older version but still manages to use the
wii remote to spice up gameplay without taking away from its
roots. Had a few goes with the boy (5) and he loves it too :D

Mine only get used by my daughter now, and yes she only plays
the wii sports and wii sports resort games.
I fear that when I finally get Kinect, that will be the last we
see of the Wii in my house
