I'm having issues with my camera angle flipping out all over the
place again suddenly (haven't had issues with it for months now,
but seems to be happening often again), really hope it doesn't
affect my race tonight, but if it does i'll have it on video
::) ::) ::)

I'm also having problems in the lead up to Monaco. I'm getting
disconnected a lot lately. Never had a problem before. Was
trying to have a practice last night but kept getting kicked
out, often between quali and the race, so I'm not sure how long
I'll last tonight.

Q: 4th; Was very happy with my quali time as my PB for the
practice that I did was only .3 faster so I retired early and
got everything together I needed to for work so I can just walk
right out the door after the race was done.
R: 4th; Very dissatisfied with my performance overall as I had
just awful tire management (a lot worse than I expected) but I
think the setup that I was using really didn't suit my driving
style long-range, so I know what I need to work on for the
future.
Also, during our first attempt at quali I had camera angle
issues, but when we restarted I had not one issue through
qualifying and the race, the mystery lives on ??? ??? ???
Anyway, got a good launch off the line and just tried to stay to
the outside at the approach to turn 1 but sort of misjudged and
bounced off the wall and just missed my teammate...at least we
got out alive. I stayed right on supanash's tail for the first 3
laps but then made a mistake heading up the hill after turn 1
and lost a couple of seconds ground. My default strategy said to
pit on L8, but I was bright red tires by lap 6, and I stayed out
an extra lap above that and paid the price with a spin on L7 at
Tabac. I limped around to the pits and put on some fresh primes.
When I exited the pits I was dead last, and was being held up
massively by Macca for about 3 laps, and finally he let me by as
he seemed to be nearing the end of his tire life as well. From
there, I was running very good laps and was hoping to gain my
lap back for the prime stint but again, 2 laps too early my
tires were just shot completely. I had to pit on L17 (stayed out
a lap too long again..) and put new primes on.
The next stint I actually was pulling away from Macca and
towards the end of the stint I was about 20 sec ahead of him,
and then I had 2 spins in a row at Tabac (hit a phantom bump on
the first lap entering there...second time bounced off outside
wall), this time, I was able to stick it out an extra lap and
pit when the game told me to pit.
The final stint on primes I was just taking it easy and then the
safety car pulled Macca in right behind me, and he had just
pitted for the options on the end so the odds were definitely in
his favor. I wanted to stick it out on the primes I was on
because I felt that track position would be good for me rather
than trying to pass my teammate on options. Let me tell you it
was squirrely trying to get the advantage to Macca (Moss lapping
us didn't help our cause much), and on the final lap we made
contact at Nouvelle chicane (probably lag induced as usual
because most likely on Macca's screen he had made the pass
before the chicane, but on my screen I got to the chicane
first). I left him plenty of room on the inside but I needed to
make the turn as well, so we hit each other and I continued on
(wish I got video of it, but my phone didn't take anything I
later realized). Finished up 4th.
Definitely gonna scrap that setup and try for something new to
help with tire wear because that was just depressing. I
definitely didn't have a podium car today, but I would've liked
to at least be closer to supanash than I was.
Good run everyone, see ya next week.

Qualifying report:
2 runs, my first run on primes was ok, then I improved with a
big mistake in the last sector, I did a flat 1:09 could've done
better with the primes but I decided to just retire.
Race report: was not bad as a start, just decent, stub had a
very good start and right after second sector he just flew away,
on lap 6 he was 3 seconds ahead, even tho I had the primes, they
were really at the end but I still did an extra 3 laps.
Lap 9 I went into the pits and put on another set of primes,
entering the pits I spun and lost so much time, I was almost 9
second behind stub but then closed the gap to 1 second, he
pitted on lap 17 I think and I had an extra 3 laps to go so with
fresh tires he closed the gap and I made a few mistake.
I pitted lap 20 for the soft tires and closed the gap again to
stubb almost 5 seconds, then I made a mistake on t4 spun the car
arround, the gap was back to 11 seconds, stubb pitted on lap 27
I think and one lap later I spun again in the same corner,
braking into t14 my car oversteers and slammed into the wall,
lost my front wing and puncture.
Slowly I drove into the pits and lost some time there, I put on
the softs and went out 20 second to stubb, I was closing up
every lap then safety car comes out, I imidiatly went in and for
some reasons they put the wet tires to my car, so I had to pit
again I was praying the Nash won't get so close but he was still
very far, I was still lucky to pit and still be ahead of Nash,
but I was 5 cars behind Nash so I had to overlap all 4 to get to
him, I was slowed down by the lapped cars and lost allot of te
to stubb.
I could've probly have fastest lap but trying do hard to close
the gap just made me do mistakes and slow down , but in the end
even tho I had so much bad lucky I was still lucky to get
second, my pace was very close to stub but not close enough to
beat him.
My strategy was bad I should've started with options, but after
all congrats to stub, and well diserved victory.

I think this championship will be a Close battle, Nash stub and
me we have been really close the last 3 races, livo and macca
are still up there and they might surprise us all. Andrew is
very very close in pace but bad luck is distroying it. Monaco
was lucky and unlucky for me my setup was good but tooo
agressive. now I'm looking forword to Canada!!! and after Canada
is Valencia were I'm abit stronge. So it will be a very
interesting championship.

Qauli 1st - 1.08.402
i did my 1st stint on primes went out with 5 laps of fuel and
hooked up a neat 1.09.700 then pushed hard and was up on moss'
1.09.000 by 3 tenths at the end of sector 2 but i cut the corner
at that shicane. went back out and tried again on the primes but
spun at casino losing my wing so i again pitted. once seeing
moss retire i thought yep now is a good chance to get pole on
the options(sometimes it might seem good to retire but not
others). i went out with a minute 30 to go and set an easy lap
of 1.08.400 without pushing to hard. i know its hard to make
clean passes at this track so i wanted position.
Race 1st - got fastest lap of 1.09.116 / strategy O/P/P/P/O
im glad i went to the options knowing moss and nash were on
primes, and i skipped away early putting a nice 3 sec lead on
moss, the car felt shit under full fuel load, was really
sketchy. but i held it together and pitted on lap 6, like drew
said tyre degradation was really bad. couldnt make my tyres last
the expected laps, was suppost to do an option last stint but
why primes were well shot with 12 to go.
i had no confidence in the mercedes at all. it would be
blisteringly fast for 2 laps on tyres then fall way of the
cliff,
me and moss were on different strategies so we were swapping
positons through the pit lane i felt like i was in the lead for
the whole race, but the 1st half was tough as we were really
close at some stages, he would catch me on my worn tyres then id
pit he would take the lead on older tyres i would claw back then
have a nice lead as he come out.
on lap 28 i pitted for fresh primes with moss behind by 9 secs,
and come out behind by 9 secs, on my out lap i caught him
dramatically in the 3rd sector i knew he had busted his wing or
spun, once he rejoined he was 20+secs behind. i knew i had the
race wrapped up from here and relaxed a little bit untill
castrol brought the S/C car out and i started to sweat a little,
it come out on lap 32 and i was at the corner before the pits
and swooped on some fresh options, beating the back markers out
i felt now i was in a strong position because moss and nash were
stuck behind a back marker train. i blew drew of heaps once the
s/c come in and i set fastest lap and take victory
all in all had a good race wasnt happy with the car or the tyre
wear, had some luck which is what you need to be a winner. wish
livo raced cause he would have been up there aswell.
also very ahppy with the back markers getting of the race line
swiftly. and no video because i didnt see anyone on the track,
didnt get drs once, seen drew and paul spin right in front of me
aswell as nash.
Happy to be back with a win after my dismal turkish GP and a no
show at Spain.

Q - 3
First quali lap was ruined by running into an incident after
turn 1. Not sure who it was. 2nd attempt was a pretty average
lap on primes but good enough for 3rd. I hardly ever race at
Monaco, so I have no consistent race pace. I am capable of a
quick lap, but not 39 consecutive quick laps. I saw the pole
time that Cam had set and thought I'd have a shot of beating it
on options, but didn't think there was any point. I knew I
wouldn't be able to live with Cam or Moss over the 39 laps, so
was happy to be in third.
R - 3
Got a good start and could have challenged Moss into turn 1 but
backed out. Really didn't want to be involved in the scrap
between Moss and Cam and just wanted to concentrate on my 3rd
place. Had Drew close behind me for a while, but when he made a
small mistake I was on my own. Made a mistake of my own a bit
later and was worried about ruining Cam's race as he was not
that far behind me, having already pitted. After that it was
pretty comfortable for me. Lapped at a pace where I could be
sure of not damaging the car. Could have gone at least a second
faster I reckon, but that still wouldn't have been quick enough
to keep up with the leaders so didn't see any point in pushing
any harder.
Was a bit worried when the safety car came out near the end that
I'd have someone close behind me, but I guess everyone after me
had been lapped so they had to sit it out behind the safety car.
That ended up giving me a huge lead to 4th place. I was right
behind Moss, but decided it would be too risky to attempt to get
past him, and just cruised to an easy 3rd place.
3rd is really the best I could have hoped for, having very
little experience at Monaco, so I'm pretty pleased. I think the
last proper online race I had there was our race last season.
Had to log out straight away when the race finished, as I was
late for meeting friends for a drink!

i hate this track with a vengeance.....
Q.
No time set.
R.
After 3 new front wings then a drive thru for cutting
corners....finally, last straw was hitting the bollard that
someone had demolished, which spun me into the wall....ffs
another wing gone....so, spat me dummy out, and totalled me car,
end of.
