Q - 3
Should've been down in the 1:15s and pole for sure. Twice I was
well up at the end of sector 2 and completely ballsed up the
final sector. I could see that Moss had set his time on primes
though, so I thought he was favourite for the race anyway.
R - 2 (O/P/P)
Got a great start for once, better than both Macca and Moss
ahead of me, but was boxed in by the two of them so had to
settle for holding 3rd place through the first few turns. After
that it was pretty close racing between the 3 or us, but I don't
think anyone made a serious overtaking attempt, Macca pitted
from the lead quite early and I got past Moss at the same time
under DRS to lead the race, but I knew Moss still had the option
tyres to come.
Came out of my first pitstop just behind Macca again, but got
past with DRS at some point. Pitted for the final time with 13
laps to go, and Macca went a couple of laps later (I assumed for
primes, but it turned out that he went for options). Moss came
out of his final pitstop side-by-side with me, but had the line
into turn 1. I got past a few corners later, but I felt that I
was still racing Macca for 2nd place really. It was only a
matter of time before Moss got past on the option tyres. When he
did, I just started managing the gap back to Macca, who dropped
off towards the end when his options gave out.
Overall I've got to be pleased with 2nd at a circuit I don't
really like, but if I could just work out sector 3 I might have
the pace to win here. Well done to Moss on the win and thanks to
both Moss and Macca for some close, clean racing. Really enjoyed
it.
Not sure what I will do next week. I'm still having problems
with my wheel downshifting. I've had a few test laps at Monaco
and it's really hard to do many laps without running wide into a
barrier. So I think I'll either miss it altogether, or just not
put in a quali lap and start at the back of the grid and see how
I go from there.

Q= 1st R= 3rd
Once again had a really enjoyable race. I toyed with the idea of
running the primes during qualifing but chickened out and stuck
with the options at the last minute to hopefully stay at the
pointy end of the grid. My first run was a two hot lap stint for
a 1.16.5 on the second hot lap. I then cruised back into the
pits and watch some of the others sector times and at that stage
I was in second behind Moss who was on the primes by two tenths.
I then waited till the five minute to go message to head out for
another run. I managed to put it a 1.16.1 on my first run so
opted out of another to save my tyres. That lap was good enough
for pole which really suprised me. Even on the primes I thought
the likes of Nash and Moss would be ahead of me?
The race started with me leading from the front which I was
pretty nervous about as that is not my usual starting position
;)
Managed to get off the line OK and hold onto P1 ahead of Nash
and Moss. Was able to hold them off untill my first stop which
was on lap 7. I then came out 5th I think on the primes. Worked
my way back to second through everyone else making their stops
and just getting my nose in front of Nashy after his stop ;D.
Nash, within a couple of laps managed a DRS on me down the main
straight. My gearing was all wrong down the straight as I could
stay with him throughout the lap but couldnt gain on him at all
even though I was in the DRS zone each lap. He then pitted must
have been about lap 20 -21 not sure. I thought I would try and
eek out a couple more laps on my already shattered tyres so I
could run options for my last stint. I lost quite a few seconds
running those extra laps and again during the last few laps on
the worn options!!!! Wrong strategy there Macca ::)
Hindsight Is a great thing but I would have been far better to
run the last stint on primes as I think I could have hounded
Nashy allot more. Still Ive got to be pretty happy with third I
guess. Thanks to both Moss and Nash for some good racing. Not so
much wheel to wheel but still enjoyable anyway.
Cheers
Macca
PS Feel bad for my team mate... obviously had another bad one
hence the abrupt exit after the flag fell. Put It behind you
Drew, Monaco here we come ;D

Q: 4th. Couldn't of gone any quicker, the lap was pretty good.
R: 6th. Hadn't done any race practice with this set up & new
wheel settings so it was tough. Had some fun racing Gazza,
overtaking each other a few times. Then got a corner cutting
penalty which put me into a battle with Kiwi. Some very good
racing with Joe but think he spun with 2 laps to go. Otherwise
he probably would of finished ahead.
Probably the hardest race I've had as I was constantly fighting
the car, missing gears & braking zones. Think I'm going
backwards why the rest of you guys continue to get quicker.
Need a break from it but before Monaco is bad timing as I will
need plenty of practice just to finish.

Q:2nd
Had 3 run in primes but none were clean, my first run was a
disaster so I pitted for another set, on my second run I was
trying hard to improve and it did work until I went wide on t12
and lost much time. On my third run I had a nervous lap so I
spun and retired with second place. For some reason in this
track doing a perfect lap on primes hit high 1:15's but it is
very hard especially through those tight corners.
R:1st
Being the only one on primes up front so I had the biggest
chance to win the race, but there's 33 laps to go and any little
mistake could change everything. My tires were 90% so I knew I
was gonna struggle.
Lights go green and abit wheel spin of the line and almost lost
my position to Nash, took a couple of Laps to get the
temperature to my tires then I started closing in on macca, Nash
was right behind us, good thing is I kept within one second
behind macca to keep using drs.
At lap 5 right ahead of me macca pitted and Nash right behind me
took me on the straight, all I had to do is stay behind him till
he pitted, I had 3 or 4 more laps to go with my tires and they
were almost out, so I lost allot of time to macca and Nash.
I pitted on lap 13 for another set of primes, and rejoins a
couple of seconds behind macca and Nash, when my tires got warm
I started closing in to them, they were battling hard, and macca
had the drs all the time so there was no chance for me but to
stay behind them, at one point I touched maccas wheel and had a
little spin but good thing I didn't have a serious one, lost
arround 3 or 4 seconds to macca, but I regained them quickly.
Nash pitted from first and I took macca using drs at the same
lap, so I pushed as hard as I can and made up some time on
macca, even tho my tires were running out I had to keep a good
distance bettween me and Nash, to get ahead of him after I pit
because I knew that when Nash is ahead he won't give up that
easy.
At lap 25 I pitted for options and I rejoined just ahead of
Nash, but with no grip going into t4 Nash overtakes me, so I
followed close and retook first using drs, and from I had the
race for my self.
It was a great race, I had a great battle, I didn't give the car
what it deserves IMO, I couldve been abit faster and grabbed
fastest lap as well, but I'm pleased that I still won, but il
still work harder for the next races.
Thanks to Nash and macca for a great race, and clean aswell,
it's my third race battling hard with nash , and I'm looking
forward for more interesting races.

Awful race.
Q: DNQ -> 9th I autospin at T2 of my hot lap and barely kiss the
wall but destroy the car instead, what a joke.
R: 7th +20sec -> 8th, had a great launch off the line and got
past Gazza and went side by side with Kiwi as he gave in to T1,
but then Striker comes across the track and throws me into the
wall. Got a puncture and broke my front wing. So I limped all
the way around the track to the pits, losing at least 40 seconds
to the lead, race pretty much done and overwith at that point;
as I exited the pits the leaders were coming down the
straightaway to end S2 of L2.
So I was on primes, and just trying to run consistent laps and
hope for a safety car, which never happened. I got past a spun
out Paul in the right hand sweeper T3, and him and I jockeyed
for position through the pitstop cycles.
I came across Beno spun in the middle of the track on the front
straightaway so there's another position. And from there it
seemed like all he was doing was getting in everyone's way, as I
lapped him 2 times after that within 5 laps, the second time him
being right on the racing line at the T9 uphill sweeper driving
no more than 60mph and I had to steer off into the grass to
avoid contact.
Someone needs to tell Ben that his sportsmanship sometimes is
just downright awful (because he probably won't even read this,
but it's true). Pisses me off that I get a puncture and continue
on with the race, and Ben just spins out and decides to just
flounder around wherever and however he wants along the track
while the rest of us are racing and then 10 minutes later just
destroys the car and leaves.
I ended the race on the options, and posted 3 fast laps in a row
during that stint. I heard Kiwi and Livo made contact somewhere
up ahead of me as I was chasing them, and with 2 laps to go I
was only 8 seconds behind them both. Coming around the turn to
start the last lap, Kiwi was spun out on the front straight,
same place where Beno was half a race earlier. Last lap I really
pushed it and was closing 1.5sec in S1 and S2 on Livo, only 3
sec behind him, but then paid the price by earning a 20sec
penalty at the right hander T13, dammit. I should have just
stayed cool and settled for 7th.
Really could've done much better this race without that first
lap incident, as I was running right on pace with the
frontrunners on my primes in the first stints while they were
all on options, but oh well. Monaco I just hope to stay off the
walls and put in a consistent effort, but Stubbs is most
definitely the favorite around there.
And like I said before, someone needs to have a talk with Ben
and tell him to stop acting the way he acts.

BTW - although I was extremely pissed off after the race, the
reason I signed off so abruptly was because I now have a new
work schedule that I have to be out of the house to go by
5:15am. I'm probably going to have to frequently sign right off
immediately after the races so as to get to work on time. :-\

My video...only the first turn will be interesting, the rest of
it is pointless to watch really.
