Haylage problems

what does everyone think about the shortage of hay/haylage and
even grass? what sort of prices are people paying if they can
get any at all?

hi jennie i'm paying �55 per bale it was only �30 6 weeks ago
:( i think farmers are taking the Pi** tbh

We are the same sarah we only paid 30 per bale and now its went
up to �50 if we can even find it and yes i know what your mean
about the farmers most of them have turned their animals to
grass and selling of what ever they have left, (i know alot of
farmers not a guess lol)
but ive seen worse, someone selling 3 bales for �200! joke tbh

we wud normly pay �25 for big round bale of haylage n yest paid
�50 for round bale of hay, our horses wud usually b out at grass
by now bt thers a shortage of tht too :(

My sister was charged 70 quid a bale. its about �7.50 for a
small bag, but it would only last 2-3 days

�70! thats crazy! :( With the weather being the way it is the
grass is late this year, prob wont be able to get the horses on
to grass for another 4-6 weeks ive been told
i just hope we have enough hay to cover us until then
