Dating with an ED

Hey guys!
I just wanted to open up the conversation about being in a
relationship when you have an eating disorder. If any of you
have ever been in a relationship, or even just been asked out
for dinner and a movie, you know it's really not easy. Your ED
makes it difficult for you and it also makes it difficult for
your significant other. So feel free to ask advice or just post
about your experiences!

One thing that's been a real issue for me especially in my
current relationship is when my SO goes on a diet.
I either panic because "oh my god what if she develops an ED" or
because "oh my god this is so triggering for my ED"

I kinda get that too - I've been in a relatuonship for over a
year and Im panicking because I gained weight. Part of me is
spiraling but the healthier side is urging me to just be ok with
it but I dont know if I can be I still have the thought
spiraling around in my head "he'd like you more if you were
thinner. You'd be more attractive if you lost some weight"
