| The full question: How important is it, in your opinion, for a | |
| therapist to have taken specialist training in working with | |
| transgender issues in order to work with a transgender client? | |
| I think it probably would be a good idea; just to be aware of | |
| the problems transgender people may experience. | |

| Yes, I also think it would be beneficial for the therapist to | |
| have specialist training. | |
| There may be issues specific to transition that occur and | |
| because this is a relatively new area, we may not be familiar | |
| with it. There may also be certain words that are used and | |
| medical procedures to take into account. | |
