SUMMARY - A study from Umea University in Sweden has concluded |
|
that people who have experienced a Covid-19 infection have a |
|
12-fold increase risk of atrial fibrillation, a 5-fold increase |
|
in paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia and a 3-fold increase |
|
in bradyarrhythmias. The risk is higher in the elderly, |
|
unvaccinated persons and people with severe Covid-19 infections. |
